How will it look if you moved the wheel wells back instead of streching the frame; do I make any sense.------------------ " My intention is to " give a different point of view ", not to offend in any way; peace."

The search should have been for "Batboy" or "batmobile. Batboy is a forum member that did that mod to his lights. This is one link to see it, but there are more out there. http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Archives/Archive-000002/HTML/20010924-1-006878.html

After seeing the green stretch Fiero on your web site, I wondered how you did it... Thanks for the "in process" pics, now I know... Excellent stuff, don't let the ankle-biters get ya down! Good to see you on the Forum again.BobC

I'll give Bubba Joe and A+ for creativity but I doubt if the idea of a Fiero station wagon will ever catch on. Adding weight is bound to slow you down and cost you a few tenths in the 1/4 mile. That could cost you a critical win. However, as the saying goes " one mans food is another mans poison". ------------------ 87GT 3.4 Turbo Best 0-60 5.2 seconds http://www.turbochargerpower.com/turbo.htm

Wow! This guy is definitely very ingenious! What about a Fiero pickup? This pic kind of looks like the Aus GM Holden, doesn't it? ------------------ Palm Beach Fieros http://pbfieros.tripod.com

I thank you but I dont think 25 lbs of fiberglass will hurt that much the weight of the car has not increased much as there was as much cut out as put back in the new trans is lighter the engine is 30 lbs heavier and the relocated rads will weigh almost the same as the original the under car cooling tube will be removed and the front filled for a trunkIP: Logged

Hey bubbajoexx, what are you using for the trunk section? are you going to add a cut trunk section deck from another Fiero and glass/weld it between the (2) parts? Was the rear clip hard to take off? If so, do you have any additional pics?IP: Logged

This project is a variation of a great theme, that being the Fiero. Maybe not for all Fiero fans but BubbaJoe is an innovative thinker and a mechanical genius. He doesn't follow, he leads and challenges conventional thinking. Awesome work Joe!

madcurl will use 2 decks and section them together and will post pics as to how it is done will also be raising the rear quarters to make the sedan delivery look IP: Logged

Hey thanks bubbajoexxx, I'm looking forward to your pics. I too wanted to extend part of the trunk deck lid and rear side panels, but not as extensive as yours. There are a lot of wrecked Fieros in Bakersfield junk yard, so the parts are no problem....getting the (2)trunk decks molded togethere is the biggest question for me?IP: Logged

Have you guys seen the 1970's movie, "Harold and Maude"? Rich kid is obsessed with death and converts his E-type Jag (I think) into a hearse. It looks cool. This one also reminds me of the old Volvo P1800 and the BMW Z3. Great idea.IP: Logged

Hey bubbajoexxx, those Dell-lortos carbs, are those the ones that are going onto the Northstar? What gains are there compared to the normal fuel injection?IP: Logged

So, you don't need to vent the engine compartment with grills or scoops or something? And talk about blind spots!I just don't know. Oh well, as long as you're having fun.
