Bring your boots and bring something to put them in after you take them off. It's damn muddy there.

Gibsons

ok - not quite the same Gibsons but both are good.

Thanks, I think it would cost too much to have it towed up. I think I have a place here, now I'm looking for a good running SBC to use while my 383 gets fixed. Anyone have a spare SBC lying around??

OK, have it all figured out. I got garage space, and a 305 chevy. I'm doing a swap until my 383 gets fixed. Hoping to take it to KY for a bit to do the interior and paint while the 383 gets fixed. Then it will be back here to WI prolly later this spring to put the 383 back in. I'm so glad its working out. oh BTW the projector retrofit lights advertised on PFF are awsome.

Hey guys, do any of the Fiero's at Gibsons have good wheels and/or tires on them? I wouldn't mind putting some honeycomb GT wheels on mine. I have never been to a yard before, and it looks like there are no wheels on the cars in the pics.

Really? PM me more info, and I'll try to work that out. See if you can find a particular set you like, and we'll see how much they cost. Thanks!

Ps, Steve, chime in on this if you don't mind.

Edit, I'll post a pic of why I should probably replace my tires later. You'll laugh or cry, because one tire is getting baaad.

The rims are from a 2006 or 2007 VW Jetta with a 5x112 bolt pattern.

I will probably not be going to Gibson's this Saturday......a little too much snow to dig thru!

Hellllooooo!!! Anyone going to Gibson's? I have to go to Madison on Sat, but i need a driverside Headlight motor. There is a red 86 that had a set of good motors on it. I got the Passenger side, was going to go back this week, but because my 383 blew up i have been working on that. And I still have that extra set of GT rims. If someone wants to come pick them up they are theirs.

Hey Jets, do any looking around at wheel adapter prices? I'm just wondering on a ballpark price range, because the little bit of searching I did wasn't very helpful. Let me know!

Just got back from Oshkosh. Met Bigjake34, who is a great guy! Saw his 383 GT (Currently a 305 due to 383 spun bearings. ) Got the rims and tires on, we chit chatted a bit, and I'm home safe!

Thanks again Bigjake34! I Really appreciate it!

Oh, by the way, Steve, I spent the drive home from Oshkosh cursing your name.

Remember when I asked why you thought my car had such a harsh vibration on the freeway? Well I suggested that it was the steering rack, and you said "Nope, your tires are out of balance." Well, I disagreed with you, and...... you were dead right. DAMN YOU STEEEEVE!!!! Hahahaha! You've bested me again!

That was the one time I ever doubted you, because I figured there was no way that was possible, but you were right. New wheels and tires and it rides muuuuch smoother at freeway speeds. I will never doubt you again.

My hat is off to you sir, for you truly know your crap, but you knew that too.

The rims look good on your car. Now just get some new lug nuts or nut covers, drop the car a bit all around, lose the 2 tone paint and the wing [I'm not a wing fan, keep it if you like it], and that car will be really sharp. LOL, It's easy to tell other people what to do to their cars. I should just shut up and get to work on my own. Build it the way you want to

Seems like you're set, but just for anyone who hasn't been to Gibson's they take them off and store them inside. I have only found a complete set of wheels in there a couple of times. Not sure how much they charge for them.

Of course, sometimes if you pop the trunk of a car, you will find surprise wheels in them =).

I didn't go at all last year. Once it's nicer out we should all take a trip over there. I'd invite my car club too, we could have a big ol' parts hunt lol.

By the way, your car looks great, Shadow!
