...always wanted to build a Fiero somewhat like that.

My thoughts... chop the top (bet you saw that comin), tint the windows, and paint it bright red.

I gave one of my Fieros to my son as a project. As we were dividing up my extra parts, I told him he got the Hi-Tech Turbo wheels and not the GT's. He said he liked the Hi-Tech better anyway.

I have wondered if they could be improved by blacking out some of the face to give them a different appearance. For instance, blacking out the thin fins to make it look like a skinny throwing star. I'm sure other looks could be as good or better.

I think the thin finns painted black would look good

He and I agree. We both like the blacked out fins! I think black crinkle engine paint would be good for that effect. Maybe add a thin red pin stripe around the rim.

For comparison, can you make the inner horizontal edge of the rim black (where the star points touch the rim) and leave the outer verticle edge machined? Keep the red stripe, too.

You got the angles right between the two pics....that is always the hard part for me. I wasn't looking for something that could pass as an actual photo, I wanted to see if I should look into the body kit...and this served that purpose perfectly.

Not quite. I don't have the spare cash sitting around. I think it does well as a convertible, but not quite enough to convince me to stand on a street corner and sell my body for it.
