I was thinking about that the other day, not sure what my first post was...I THINK I had just gotten the GT... Probaby the typical "hi, I just got a Fiero, have some questions..." I found some of my old ones, the typical newbie"where does this pipe go? (recall thingie) and headlight motor issues...
Your first post already had you jumpin' to help people(the column, etc) very cool...!
------------------ Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. A normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow. But he won't know what to make of your blinker signal that says you are about to turn right. This is to let him know you're pulling off for a proper place to talk. It will take him a moment to realize that he's about to make a 180 degree turn at speed, but you will be ready for it. Brace for the g's, and fast heel-toe work.

. My first post here was nine years ago. No, I'm not going to look for it.
[EDIT] Well, out of curiosity I looked around. I haven't found my very first post yet, but I did find a thread I started in January of 2000 about thread deletion in these forums which is kind of intriguing. Interesting twist at the very end as well. For anyone who might be interested in this bit of forum history, have a look Here.

My first post was in The Mall for my Yellow Fiero GT. I did a google search on Fieros and I found this forum, so I was just cruising around and I saw that Yellow Fiero GT I fell in love with but fierogofast bought it off the guy before I could get the money, so when I saw it here I joined the forum to contact him to buy it and after a while I just got addicted to the forum because of the great people on here, so I stayed. This is the best forum I have ever been on.
I picked up my Formula on Jan. 29, 2001, and we had the first Raleigh meeting of Tarheel Fieros the following Saturday.
Here's a pic of "the twins" (mine and LZeitgeist's car) at that first Raleigh meeting of Tarheel Fieros. I don't think we even had a name back then. We were just TGWWTFTHOST (those guys what with the Fieros that hang out some times)
On March 28, 1999 @ 6:17pm I posted for the very first time to this forum. What incredibly intelligent thing did I have to say or offer?? Not much! Cliff was the only one nice enough to reply. Thanks Cliff!
Here's mine...and the author of this current one, was one of the first to advise me all that time ago, along with Electrathon/Aaron ( I miss that guy!! ), and good ol' $Rich$!!!!!.. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/A...031110-2-038398.html Boy, back then I didn't have a care in the whole World..until Mum passed away on 14th July that year... that was the start of five years of nightmares
Nick

Dunno-I'm actually maryjane--using Jane's account, since I can't even remember my password "after lo these many many months". Just tonight getting my computer back on the internet. I think my 1st post was in tech--a question about Jane's 84. Yes, we still drive it, along with my silver 84, and have a red 88 now, but it isn't running yet. Don

My first post... it was in the mall to buy Rhino88GT's 88 GT. I can remember it like it was yesterday, even though I can't remember much about yesterday, it was the tequila
i'm not going to look. i have no idea of an easy way to look, and i'm lazy
If you get the energy.......click the search button and type in your user name. Make sure it is on "Entire Forum + Archives" and "Subject/Username". Now, when the list comes up, click on "Sort By Date" and your earliest post should pop up (mine did).
I had lots of fun re-reading those old posts from 1999. Only a small handful of people were even registered at that time and an even smaller number were active.....sometimes it would be days before you got a reply (if you even got a reply!) . Anyway, it was a "kinder, gentler" forum back then, wasn't it?

Oh yeah, Flamberge......I can't believe you still have that white GT! I think I went through 13 Fieros, a Civic, a Fiat, a 4Runner, a Saturn, an Austin-Healey and an old Chevy van since you bought that car!! Crazy! I think the longest I ever held onto one Fiero was an '88 GT I bought in 1997 (sold in 2004).....about 7 years or so.
It's been a long time.....glad you are still around and your Fiero is still kickin'.
