Just wanted to say Hi to all of y'all. I am new to the forum, and have already made a coupla friends.
I have driven a Fiero since '89 and am only on my fourth one (I have already been called "slacker" - and I know it was joking, but I can't afford a lot of them). The one that I currently own is an Indy with 52K on it. All original with some very minor interior mods. Want to keep it stock. My son and I spent about 6 months looking for an Indy that we both approved of, and when we found it, we snagged it.
I am hoping to find time during the summer to make some meets and other stuff so that I can meet a lot of Fiero owners...it's nice to talk to people who approve of the car and not the other people that think that Fieros are "junk".
I need someone to let me know how to post some pics of the Indy if any one is interested...
I am always ready to read what people have to say about their Fieros. It is enjoyable to find what people want to do with theirs.
Fieros are junk, hehe but I love em. I have 2 of my own. Welcome to the forum, you'l love it here! After you see some of the widebody and kit builds, you wont want to keep yours stock .
I'm doing a widebody myself, soon to build \/ that. \/ . hehe
Have a good one, Chase.

I am looking into buying an '86 SE that I may modify - but I WON'T modify my Indy - waaaay to sweet a car and the troops at Fort Hood always like to take a look at it when they are in town.

I have pics of the Indy, but they are only on my computer, not on a website, so I don't know how to post them here for anyone to see. But if you really would like to see them, email me and I will send them to you.
Tim, I am not the best with a computer, even worse than that. Look at the bottom of this page. See the blue box that says "Pennock's Image Poster". Click on it and supposedly the instructions are easy to follow to post pictures. I can chore my way through it but can not explain it.

Like the man said. On the bottom of the page is a big blue button called Pennock's Image poster. Click on it and just follow the instructions. It IS very easy.
Maybe you would be better off sending them to someone else to post. I got them, but they are way too latge to post as is. 1.2mb each is a bit big for my downsizing ability. Sorry. Max width for posting here is 640 pixels and 100kb total size.

The black on the side-view mirrors are black leather coverings to help protect the white paint. With as much gravel as we have on our roads around here I wanted to be able to protect them as much as possible.

Fieros have also been an obsession of mine since '89, but I am just now being able to get involved on a larger scale with them (meets, forums, etc), and I am glad that I am able to because my 12 year old son is VERY excited and hoping that he will be able to attend some with me.

The regular monthly meeting of the North Texas Fiero Club (NTFC) is at Papa's Barbecue in north east Dallas (you can find it on Mapquest). we usually gather around to oogle each others cars about 11:00 a.m. or so and have lunch there. Afterwards, a short meeting of tech talk and coming events is held. Most leave about 1:30 to 2:00 p.m.
It would make a nice little road trip for you to come join in the fun this coming Saturday (25th).
Would love to make the meeting, but I can't this time. I have a job that I have to do in Waco at 1:00. I will be joining your group though. I never mind driving up to the DFW area (2 hours in a Fiero is never a bad drive), and I can always visit my parents on a trip (they live in Arlington).
Thank you very much for the invite, and I will be making a meeting as soon as I can,
Great job on it! I am really thankful that I did not have to do anything to mine...I don't have the time, patience, or knowledge required to do such a wonderful job.
Yea tell me about it... threads like this always get me in the mood to buy a new fiero... especially an indy... thing is i have the money but i need to buy a car i can drive in the winter... so it will have to wait lol.
