Just joined the list today, wanted to list a couple of repair topics I'm very familiar with: tilt column repair, including the infamous wobble, and V6 cruise control. If anyone needs any help on these topics, let me know!

Im sure lots of people will use your help. Its been winter and lots of people store their cars. With spring around the corner lots more will be on the road taking trips, so soon a slew of cruise control questions will be popping up.

I have just bought a vacuum thank (for the cruise control) from GM. They told me that is it discontinued for a 86 Fiero. Now I have a plastic thank from a pontiac 6000. But it has only one place to connect a vacuum line .I have 2 hose. Can i do something about it????

You really need the Fiero reservoir, it has a check valve in it that allows the cannister to retain vacuum, I don't think the plastic one you have will work. I see these all over the place around here in wrecking yards for $5. You ought to post in the mall that you need one, chances are you can get one for just shipping.
