Fellow Fiero fans:

Thanks for all the input and responses to my question of interest in an
informal Fiero get-together.

While there was interest expressed for both weekends (in Dec and Jan), there
appears to be enough interest to plan for Saturday, Dec 16th at the Golden
Corral steakhouse just off I-40 and Wendover Ave. If we plan to meet about
2:00 - 2:30 the lunch crowd should be thinned out some and will give time
for owners from father away to come over. There is ample parking at the
Golden Corral and it is right next to Sams Club if we need a little more
space. Weather permitting, we can meet in the parking lot and get
introduced and then go in together for a late lunch. This should give
owners from out of town plenty of time to get home afterward. Anyone that
can stay a while is welcome to stop by my house afterward. (might put you
to work though!).

Hopefully I will have the front suspension back in my blue 87 GT in time for
the event.

If there is enough interest we might try to arrange a similar meeting in the
Raleigh area in mid January. Perhaps someone in Raleigh could suggest a
location. We can discuss further.

Some things to discuss:
1) Is there any interest in a spring cruise through the mountains of NC, VA,
or WV some weekend?
2) Is there any interest in getting a group together to drive down to the
swap meet at the Fiero Factory in Huntsville, AL the last weekend in April?
Maybe going through Deal's Gap on the way!
3) Any interest in getting a group of cars to drive up to the national
Fiero show being held in Williamsburg, VA in early August?
4) How do we keep these cars healthy and on the road :-)

This is meant to be a relaxed, fun and informal way to meet other Fiero
owners and discuss our common interest. Please pass this along to any other
Fiero owners or others interested in our favorite cars.

If you need directions once you get to Greensboro, my mobile phone # is
(336) 707-9685.

I hope to meet many of you on Dec 16th...

Bob Englert

By the way, had a great time meeting everyone at the get-together. Hopefully I will be in town for the next one: The coupe will be in NC in January sometime so I'll at least have a fiero to drive and show off like everyone else!

Want to say thanks to all that braved the weather and the traffic to meet for lunch. Lyn, Megan, and I all had a great time. Nice to see everyone.

Everyone seems to agree that we should do this again. It was also agreed that we should take turns in different parts of the state to encourage more Fiero owners to join us. I think it would make sense to try to met in the Raleigh area next time and maybe in Charlotte after that. Hopefully we can connect with more of the SC Fiero owners in Charlotte. I also want to see Bryan's killer Fieros!

Would January 20th work for most as a meeting date in Raleigh? Check your schedules and let me know.

There was also interest in arranging some runs through the mountains in the spring and summer. I look forward to setting some of these up. IMO this is what a Fiero is meant to do!

Thanks again for all that took time to get together in Greensboro.

Happy holidays!
