Eight body mods that you can see. Taller wing stands, Indy scoop, non stock wheels (Compomotive, I think), IRM Integrated Rocker Panels (although they could be the cheaper knock offs), Indy fender badge, mirrors, hood scoop, and front air dam. They didn't make any fastback Indys so if it started out life as a real Indy, substitute the Indy fender badge for the fastback/GT body parts. Nice car no matter what it started out as. Isn't that a Florida car? The Gray Ghost or something to that effect? Has Mr. Mikes new sport seats in it?
I just reread your posts. I guess it used to be an Indy, eh? Add "V6" to my list of obvious mods. I hope it was a trashed Indy. I'd hate to think that somebody did all of that to an Indy in good shape. For the kind of money they obviously spent, they could have restored the Indy to showroom condition.

It's an original indy. Had the 4 cyl taken out and replaced with the turbo V6. The picture was taken at the NEFA Rutland show. It had the GT clip, Ferrari type mirrors, IRM scoops, Molded in hood scoop/vent, molded in raised rear spoiler. The more you look at it the more you see.

The car belongs to Fran Passuite of Lockport, NY. He bought the 4-cyl Indy new from a dealership and completely changed it into a multiple show winner. The car is called "Indy2" as Fran built it to be a second generation Fiero Indy. This car is also featured on the cover of the October 2001 Smoke Signals magazine which is the official magazine of POCI (Pontiac Oakland Club International).
Fran keeps the car under wraps in his garage, starting it every couple of days. He drives it to the shows and we cravaned to the Rutland Show as well as the MAFOA show in Denver this year. No power steering. It has a custom exhaust that sounds fantastic.
He has the original Indy 4 cylinder engine stored away with most of the parts from his original pace car.
I don't know what I did with last months issue of Smoke Signals which tells of all the stuff Fran did to the car. Find the issue and it tells of all the modifications.
Fran is a hell of a nice guy.
All the work was professionally done, custom designed by Fran.
The car is fast as anything with the Miller-Woods turbo, but Kay his wife, won't let him drive too fast when she's in the car.

Hopefully my white 87 GT will look like that with the tall stands and rocker panels. What I wanna know is them tires? where did they come from and where can I get a pair. I need some white nice looking rims and those are nice.
