The illegitimate despotic regime which seized and continues to occupy the Whitehouse has already labelled it "insurrection" and layed our once great republic to rest in a pine box. You seem to be impatient to attend the wake.

Don't be too surprised when you start to hear a rustling from within that box.

Bonus if you know the source of the picture.
Extra credit if you can name the person in the picture.
Super bonus extra credit if you can tell me how it is tangentially Pontiac related.

Hint: I have posted the answer to all three in the past, in a round-a-bout Circular Circulation sort of way.

Maybe the Democrats want to setup a 2 year "RussiaGate" sorta thing where they can bring it to a boil around election time. Or maybe if they can keep it on a low simmer until the next presidential election then trot it out to try and hammer whoever is the GOP candidate for 2024.

I believe you have it right. If they can keep the "insurrection" and Covid in the forefront and squelch any news of the election fraud/audits they think they can sway those who like being spoon fed.

There will be periodic, carefully timed "leaks" from the January 6th Commission over the next few years.

Caleb Berry has just pled guilty to a criminal indictment charging him with one count of conspiracy and one count of obstruction of an official proceeding. He faces a statutory maximum of five years in prison on the conspiracy charge and up to 20 years on the obstruction charge, as well as a period of supervised release.

As a cooperating witness, he's not going to be sentenced to anything close to 20 years of imprisonment.

But what about other people who may be charged with conspiracy and obstruction, based on this defendant's testimony as a cooperating witness?

Sock it to them, I hope they get what they deserve. I hope antifa and blm get charged too,...but I guess sense this is a political stunt by the democrats, only the "Trumpers" will get punished
The blm antifa riots have lead to 3 billion dollars in damages and many deaths and injuries. How many are looking at 20 years in prison? Hills up along with other democrats set up funds to bail out and defend antifa and blm rioters. It is a fact that the democrats don't even want to call the riots "riots". They want to avoid the truth by calling them protests. Now who is conspiring against America? The answer is the current administration of democrats.

You have got to be kidding? You are the only impatient person labeling the Jan6 trespassing with outrageous and inaccurate labels.

If you are Pennocks Purveyor Of Perjury and perennial propagandist for the LEFT, like he is, then hyperbole, deceit, exaggeration and LIES are your "stock in trade", your "tools".

It's what he does.

He kept repeating "COLLUSION" over and over for 4 years and now he keeps mindlessly hooting CONSPIRACY for a few principle reasons.

1. He was "bludgeoned" in this thread into being forced to admit that THERE WAS NO "INSURRECTION"

and more importantly:

2. He hasn't the faintest clue whatsoever the legal intricacies of actually proving a charge of "conspiracy" and, more importantly, WHY the Biden administration would try to bring charges of "conspiracy" against LESS THAN 1 PERCENT of the people that attended the MOSTLY PEACEFUL January 6, 2021 rally in DC.

3. Similarly, he doesn't have anywhere close to even a basic understanding of WHY far less than a handful of defendants would agree to plead guilty to such a charge, the same as the fact that he was never once possessed of even a rudimentary understanding of WHY General Michael Flynn, who's case he also hooted about endlessly, would have also entered into a "guilty" plea with the government.

I mentioned it earlier in this thread but allowed it to pass by without explanation that the federal crime of "conspiracy" is one of a very few INCHOATE offenses, (attempt, solicitation, and conspiracy)

IT IS NOT what is referred to as the "target crime".

That should be a "helpful hint" to anyone with the intellectual curiosity that our Pennocks Purveyor Of Perjury lacks.

He will just keep on mindlessly hooting CONSPIRACY!!!!

Ok, so the nuts and bolts of it,... "damage assessment" from a Trump hater. This article is VERY biased against the "mob" so no doubt in my mind they are exaggerating the damage costs. One such example of the biased exaggeration is lumping the pelosi fence onto the cost of damages. Another example is the damage assessment included projected inflation and indeterminate length of time for the unnecessary idiot pelosi fence.
So what did the attempted Government overthrow damages cost? 30 million dollars AND GROWING???. HOW DOES THE DAMAGE KEEP GROWING FOR A 3 HOUR TRESPASSING 6 MONTHS AGO????? Political CORRUPTION perpetrated by democrats who hate half of America is the only answer.
2 lamp stands, a few windows and doors. The article as part of it's Trump hate listed furniture as a part of the damage but that damage was caused by Capital Police and they also noted that a paint job was "destroyed". A needless and senseless waste of money remodeling paint job!!! Also part of the damage assessment was "monentos" that democrats claimed as losses.
SOOOO, the Government damaged furniture and did a repaint project and "lost momentos" while the other idiots broke windows and a few doors. The biggest idiot pelosi cost the tax payer 60 TIMES as much money as the rioters did. The cost of windows and repairs to doors can't cost more than $500,000.
The politicians did 60x more monetary damage, half of the property damage and are responsible for 100% of the death toll from the Jan6 trespassing.

BTW, the first sentence handed down to a Jan6 trespasser is 8 months NOT the 20+ years mentioned earlier in the thread. The over exaggeration, hate and zealous over this political issue is so overwhelming and consuming to some people that they exaggerate even not just the events or damage BUT the aftermath as well.

Rinselberg, you were partly correct with your analogy of a nuclear bomb vrs weather event. The Government in you analogy is most certainly the bomb and the trespassers are a minor event.

I've posted this link before and I'm posting it again. I think this online video content is unique.

You may be suspicious of any reporting from the New York Times. You may be suspicious of any or all of the (10) named reporters as "propagandists." My question--if anyone were to view any of this content--is what do you see or hear that you think is false or misleading? Can you narrow it down to something more specific than just a general suspicion about the New York Times or any or all of the (10) named reporters?

"Day of Rage: An In-Depth Look at How a Mob Stormed the Capitol"
Dmitriy Khavin, Haley Willis, Evan Hill, Natalie Reneau, Drew Jordan, Cora Engelbrecht, Christiaan Triebert, Stella Cooper, Malachy Browne and David Botti; June 30, 2021. A six-month [New York] Times investigation has synchronized and mapped out thousands of videos and police radio communications from the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, providing the most complete picture to date of what happened—and why.

It's 40 minutes but it's fast-paced, with visual aids like overlays and pointers to augment the raw video footage. And you don't need an online subscription. This Internet page link is your free admission to the January 6 Online Experience.

Good for one free admission via desktop system, tablet or smartphone. Reusable.
https://nyti.ms/2UUXgu0

You may need to use the loudspeaker icon in the lower right corner of the movie screen to unmute the sound.

There's a moment where the narrator singles out District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser--anything but a Trump supporter or MAGA enthusiast--for having turned down an offer of additional security forces in the days just before January 6. I'm not sure whether that offer of police reinforcements for January 6 was something involving the Department of Homeland Security or some other agency. But I wonder about that--and if Mayor Bowser will be called as a witness by the new House Committee that's set up to investigate the events of January 6.

In so many words, author and historian Timothy Snyder has said that the best dry run for a successful insurrection is a failed insurrection.

Day of rage? What a joke from an idiot of bias and hate. They don't have a clue what an insurrection is. If they did they would at least mention the antifa riots that have been going on in Portland where Police stations and at least one Federal building have been under violent attacks for months including attempts to burn a building down with people inside.
No Rinselberg I do not buy into the source.

There was no "failed insurrection" on January 6. 2021 because there was no attempted insurrection.

Timmy has said a lot of very stupid things so it's no wonder he is a part of your "pantheon of propagandists".

Timmy has lived his entire life ensconced inside the walls of universities and wouldn't know an insurrection from an ingrown toenail.

Timmy claimed that Trump's campaign for president was a "Russian Operation".

Timmy is a Trump hating book salesman who has been making dumbass comparisons of Trump and Hitler since just after Trump was elected.

Timmy is a Leftist and he knows how to sell his books to other Leftists.

Just like your ignorant prognostications, NONE of Timmy's crap has proved true either.

....or is another one of YOUR LIES like the THREE that you have told in this thread so far.

Which reminds me

Considering the fact that you have already LIED multiple times about quotes from people in this thread,

WELL DONE my friend!

You have correctly ascertained that, like all LEFTISTS, he is attempting to control the narrative and frame the argument by trying to put the focus on his New York Slimes propaganda video garbage..

You also saw that it wasn't just the LEFTIST "pedigree" of the gang of young propagandists that created that turd of a video but it was also the content of that pile of manure that made it what it is.

The Pennocks Purveyor Of Perjury LOVES it because it feeds and validates his Marxian imagination and THAT is what it was created for and HE is a loyal member of the LEFTIST audience it is meant for.

We see it realistically and objectively as the propagandist trash that it is.

I don't know about the New York Times coverage on Portland.

Here's something recent from the New York Post:

quote
More than two dozen suspected Antifa rioters have been charged in Portland in the past two weeks, signaling an escalation by both local and federal prosecutors following a full year of riots in the besieged Oregon city. . . . In a separate indictment, six other suspects were charged with felony crimes for their alleged roles in the Antifa Inauguration Day riot on Jan. 20. . . .

"More than two dozen Antifa rioters charged for Portland mayhem"
Andy Ngo for the New York Post; June 6, 2021.

Molina [Yadier Molina? I doubt that.] wasn’t the only one arrested in the last week based on federal criminal charges. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon announced that Malik Fard Muhammad, 24, Rowan L. McManigal, 19, and Richard Timothy Hernandez, 56, were indicted for crimes allegedly committed at riots.

Muhammad faces the most serious charges. He was previously extradited to Oregon after he was indicted on two counts of attempted aggravated murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, four counts of felony riot, two counts of unlawful manufacturing of an explosive device, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a loaded firearm in public.

To paraphrase a line from the original "Untouchables" TV series "This ain't Portland. This is FEDERAL."

That's just two more paragraphs from that same recent article in the New York Post, from June 6.

WOW!

They managed to finally arrest and charge a whopping FOUR Antifa out of the hundreds that travelled all over the country wreaking havoc and insurrection..... last year.

That obviously doesn't bode well for your wild fantasy of a massive spate of arrests and charges yet to come from the MOSTLY PEACEFUL events of January 6, 2021

............................................................................

Meanwhile your intrepid, "legendary lawmen", of the Biden DOJ continue to BECLOWN themselves with nonsense like THIS:

It says clearly on the box that it's for ages 12+ which is obviously way above the mental age range for Biden and his "legendary lawmen"

.................................................................................

"Headlines blared and pundits laughed about the person arrested by the Feds who had a “fully constructed U.S. Capitol Lego set” confiscated in a search of his home as evidence. What a bunch of clowns, using Lego to plan an unarmed insurrection.

However, there was a problem. There never was a fully constructed Lego Capitol, instead an unopened Lego box for building a Capitol was confiscated by the ever alert Feds.

"Fear not, America. This is the same FBI that is prioritizing Trump supporters in their search for domestic terrorists, while its Clouseau-like Director, Christopher Wray, seems dangerously unaware of the coordinated damage and terror created by ANTIFA."

https://townhall.com/column...lie-matters-n2592776

A huge cache of illegal automatic weapons and ammunition???

Massive bombs and explosive devices kept in secret bunkers by hordes of crazed Trump supporters???

How about just a single Molotov cocktail.... or maybe a few baseball bats from the Goodwill Store???

NOPE

Bumbles Biden and his crack(head) team of "legendary lawmen" seized a hidden and terrifying, WEAPON OF MASS:

Maybe next they will bring charges of CONSPIRACY TO LEGO

Thank YOU for the Thank You.

HOWEVER....I am NOT giving "legal advice". I am only offering "research and lay opinion".

Offering legal advice without being a member of the Bar is called "unlicensed practice of law", (UPL as an acronym), and could get me into trouble.

Reading, absorbing, analyzing and assessing data comes kind of naturally to me as a former military intelligence officer, a professional engineer, (and now a 69 year old law school student).

Since retiring from my business and only going to law school part time right now, I have some time to devote to debunking LEFTISTS like our resident Purveyor Of Perjury.

Leftists are TEDIOUS creatures. When you finally corner them on an issue they immediately divert, change the subject, try to reframe the same failed argument, double down on their current lie, lie again or just run away and come back later with new lies.

It's like playing "whack-a-mole" with a dishonest mole that always pops in a hole to the LEFT.....

Ronald, THINK for yourself. Don't allow others to force feed you a narrative. This is real. NOT big tech conspiracies. CNN is a joke and a hack of news. Anything can obstruct Congress, what is the purpose of filabustering?
Yes some of the idiots did assault and I hope they pay for it, just like antifa and blm need to pay for the crimes they committed. If the blm and antifa riots don't get investigated and prosecuted, then this shouldn't either.
Yes this is trespassing, they did not loot, burn, graffiti or ransack anything. They broke in, and took pictures. That is criminal trespassing. They did not attempt to take over the Government or kill anyone. They may have attempted to intimate people, much like blm and antifa blocking freeways. Simply trespassing.

Have there been any federal investigations and prosecutions related to the riots and other civil disturbances in Portland?

This is from the same New York Post article that I posted up earlier in this thread, closer to the top of this page:

quote

He’s accused of traveling from Indianapolis to violently riot at five separate protests in Portland. He allegedly threw Molotov cocktails at law enforcement, causing one officer’s leg to catch fire, and giving out baseball bats to rioters from September through October 2020. Muhammad was bailed out on May 26 by the Antifa-linked Portland Freedom Fund, who paid $212,500, or 10 percent of his state-ordered $2.1 million bail.

However, Muhammad was re-arrested on May 28 and taken into federal custody on separate federal charges of possession of unregistered destructive devices, engaging in civil disorder and obstructing law enforcement and using explosives to commit a federal felony. Court documents allege he had also traveled to Louisville, Ky. to receive firearms and tactical training.

Just a few days later, the New York Times published a sizable report on the situation in Portland, and if anyone were to bring it up on their screen, they would see, after the end of it, other reports that have been published in the New York Times about the violence and property damage in Portland:

"After a Year of Protests, Portland Is Ready to Move On. But Where?"

quote
The demonstrations that swept the country after George Floyd’s death lived on for much of the year in Portland, a city now engaged in finger-pointing and a debate over what comes next.

Kirk Johnson and Sergio Olmos for the New York Times; June 9, 2021.
https://www.nytimes.com/202...rtland-protests.html

It's easy to pretend that the New York Times doesn't cover these other kinds of situations, or to pretend that Black Lives Matter and antifa have "Get Out of Jail Free" and "Don't Even Go To Jail" Monopoly-style game cards in the game of life--pretenses that are being offered up here to "diss" the New York Times investigations of the Jan 6. Capitol rioters and the federal government's investigations and prosecutions of the Jan. 6 Capitol rioters.

It's easy to do that, but it's not being "real."

What's NOT being real Rinselberg is to say your sources cover them equally. Have they reported on them, sure, but they are equally as costly as pelosi's fence and FAR more destructive. Attempting to burn a building down with people in it is a FAR more serious crime than trespassing.
No Rinselberg, I believe you are not being real about this issue and neither are your sources.

The adjective "violent" is used 213 times in this listing of Capitol Breach cases from the U.S. Department of Justice.
https://www.justice.gov/usa...capitol-breach-cases

I haven't figured out an easy way to count up all of the defendants in this listing.

And mostly peaceful was used thousands of times to describe the violent and deadly blm antifa riots.
Words are words, prove it in court. That is why it is so hard to prosecute the VAST majority of the trespassers. They did not target people for violence like antifa blm. They did not burn loot murder like antifa blm. They broke some widows and doors.,,,,yah real violence going on in there. Out side of the Capital Police killing a person, no true violence actually happened. ESPECIALLY compared to blm antifa.

Everyone saw the incidents during the BLM riots about police violence wherein the BLM appointed 'security' troops committed violent assaults on White people, even those cucks supporting them.

That unprovoked violence is what you can expect from those who say they want to stop police violence. They're so capable of impulse control and reasoned thought. Will he serve?

This newly updated report from CBS News is the most complete summary of the Jan. 6 Capitol Breach that I've seen, in breaking out the numbers.

  • More than 535 defendants have been arrested and 21 have pleaded guilty
  • Charges include assaults on officers, destruction of government property and conspiracy
  • Dozens of defendants have served in the military
  • At least 15 worked as law enforcement officers
  • Authorities are still looking for hundreds of suspects
  • Defendants have come from at least 46 states
  • Authorities have linked more than 80 defendants to extremist groups
  • More than 65 women have been arrested
  • Defendants' ages span six decades

Injuries sustained by law enforcement

quote
In total, CBS News has found that more than 150 officers were injured in the attack, according to sources on Capitol Hill and the Capitol Police union, as well as testimony from Metropolitan Police Chief Robert Contee.

The "DC Swinger"

quote
Josiah Colt, the man photographed swinging from a balcony inside the Senate chamber on January 6, pleaded guilty to one felony charge of obstruction. In pleading guilty, Colt also agreed to cooperate with prosecutors. That's a potentially significant development for the cases of two riot suspects who prosecutors described as Colt's co-conspirators.

"More than 535 arrested so far in Capitol riot case, while more than 300 suspects remain unidentified"
Clare Hymes, Cassidy McDonald and Eleanor Watson for CBS News; July 22, 2021.

Rinselberg, did you even bother to read the list of "injuries"? It is an impressive list of devastation, destruction and cold hearted blood shed and slaughter that you would typically think follows an attempt to overthrow a Government. The "violence" lasted about 2 hours.
Iist of reported injuries from the "VIOLENT INSURRECTION" on January 6 2020 include:
Scratches:
Bruises:
Concussion:
"Fractured rids":
Burns: from fireworks
That's it folks.
The end result of the VIOLENCE from thousands of trespassers is a list of 5 different types of injuries.

You are attempting to reason with the same LEFTIST that tried to sell us the fantasy that a 52 year old grandmother "savagely attacked " a poor, frail, helpless, police officer with a flag.

REALITY is simply not a concept he has a grasp of.
