Damn.. 4 pages now, and we are still about a month away! Sheesh!
Hey all... I updated the events page (click here) with hotel information. I have noticed a few people wondering on here if others have room to bunk with, etc., and I don't know what the hotel availablity is still, so if you are having a problem getting a room, or would like to bunk with someone, and if you are someone that is courteous enough to share your room (me and the ms. are sharing our room with others), then visit the events page, and send a quck email letting me know... I will then email the people willing to share with the email address of people that would like to be the share-ee!
Current count as of this morning, there are 11 cars that have pre-reg'd. Again, pre-reg'ing is not a requirement, but it *does* help us out that are doing stuff at the event *tramendously*! I have seen all these people on here saying they are coming, but not pre-reg'd. If you don't mind, please visit the event site listed above, and click the "pre-reg" link at the bottom of the page. The form has 7 or 8 quick questions on it, and it won't take you but maybe 2 or 3 minutes to complete. It would be appreciated!
Posting an update. Just called this morning to book a room, there are still a number of rooms left under the Dale Huston Fiero group available. Dale blocked a large number of rooms for the group. It was kind of hard to make the desk clerk understand I was with the group. (He was a new employee) If you call, make sure you talk to someone that knows about the group, there shouldn't be a problem. If you don't tell them you are with the group, there are no rooms available. They have all been booked. Hope to see everyone there.

Doesn't matter if it is a new employee or not! When I made my reservations a month ago, the two people running the front desk took about 10 minutes to figure out what I was talking about!
------------------ "Real American Heroes - Today we solute you, Mr. Ford Truck Towing A Fiero Guy. When most people don't even know what a Fiero is, let alone just where the motor is, you seem to somehow fit right in. You see the looks people give to that car with the PIAA light conversion, the 2" drop springs, big scoops on the hood, and the 19" tires that are bigger than the car itself, and get a kick out of their reactions. You get all warm and gooshy inside by knowing you help out children in need by putting smiles on their faces, whenever you drive by with that car on the trailer all lit up with neon. A car that isn't made anymore, is kept alive by being the prize posession of most of their owners who spend 5 times more than what they paid for them to gain a few more horsepower, and loose a couple seconds off their 1/4 mile, and spend many of nights sleeping "in the dog house" because of it. You help them save their paychecks on tow bills by being the "Fieros West & WCF Support Vehicle". So crack open a drink, Fiero Tower Guy, and know that the Fiero community appreciates your participation & support. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be able to show Corvettes and Porches just how Mean the "M" in 2M6 can get!

Hey Charles, maybe you can pop in with updates now and then on how the prereg numbers are going? Would you be able to give me a count of what we have by class? I plan to order the trophies from the place in Reno while I'm passing through next Tuesday. I'm curious to see what cars we have so far by class.

PS: John S. Can you send me an email with the "list" of people that we have been emailing "behind the scenes". Had to redo the computer and I can't find the list of "behind the scenes" people, and I need to send an email to everyone!
Thanx!

Yo FND, you can put me down for the Modified class It may still be under construction but that wont stop me
Do me a favor Rick... Visit the website and fill out the prereg form.. That is the "official" way we are keeping track of people... I am printing out "dash cards" for people, like I did in Vegas, so that way you won't have to fill out the dash cards when you get there!
My car is still in the paint shop, hope to have it home in the next few days. I keep working on my dash pod and try and organize a very big pile of parts that have to go on when it comes back. I want to be able to drive it around a good bit to make sure all is working good before I take off and drive it to the coast. We are both soo looking forward to West Fest!
How is your car coming along?
Rick

Well, I noticed the other day we started getting paid pre-reg's at WCF, which no one knew about there.. I guess that was a mis-communication between you and I John, not a big deal - as we are tending with it!
I believe that we are upto 15 or 16 now... We are getting about 2-3 a week, so hopefully it won't be too bad!
I noticed that Morehead"-for-your-money" (inside joke) said that everyone is leaving from WCF on Thursday, is this correct!?
The Fieros West website is actually being updated quite a bit! I have events being posted on there now that aren't even dealing with California Fiero events, so it seems to be a good event calendar for not only the west coast as I was looking at, but even east coast now.. So bear with me all in updating the website event calendar if it is a little behind!

There are only 5 rooms left at the Courtesy Inn. That's a total of 35 reserved. If you are going, it would be best to reserve before you get there, otherwise you might have trouble getting a room anywhere nearby, and if you do, it will be over $100/night.

Is there going to be any parking/admission fee if we are just attending to check out the cars? I'd just like to come down on Saturday for some inspiration and whatnot... my car isn't even close to being ready for a show.
