OK, a stock 300ZX would smoke a stock Fiero GT. But, this is how we look at it....
Lets see, you would spend about 30,000 on a decent ZX, right? Well, we spend 6,000 on a decent 88 Fiero GT. That leaves us 24,000 in money for mods....THATS ALOT OF MONEY!!!! Do you even KNOW the possibilitys with 24,000 just for mods???
With that extra 24,000....we can make the Fiero: A - Look ALOT better (the GTs already do) B - Make them faster C - Make them brake faster D - Make them handle ALOT better And in your case - E - get ALOT more b!tches...
But for us, thats not WHY we buy a Fiero, it because we LOVE the Fiero. We just lucked out and fell in love with one bad-ass car!

I had a 300ZX for and short time and got rid of it because it was to costly to repair and a ***** to fix yourself. TurbochargedGT, Black Widow was a STOCK Fiero GT with a 5 speed and roughly 130,000 miles. I had it down to as low as 6.7 seconds on 0-60 and 14.8 quarter mile. I have my timeslip as proof. After seeing a really well "built up" non-turbo ZX, I had to drive it (as to how extent the build up is, I am unsure, and the owner may have been really milking it out). Point- My stock fiero gt smoked a 'built up' non-turbo 300ZX. It can be done. Now, a 300zx TT, a stock fiero couldn't touch.
Now, on to the thread- I don't really care if this kid has a 390hp ZX or a Pinto. Any realistic parent would never allow their kid, who is newly licensed to have a car with so much power. Very humorous, though.

I just skimmed a couple of pages of this thread. It got my attention because of the 9 pages!
1 It doesn't matter if we defend our cars to this guy.
2 The only reason he is still around is because we keep fueling the fire.
3 The 300ZX TT is a cool car, just kind of ugly for my tastes.
4 He is making us look like an immature kids, much like he makes himself out to be.
5 He says he can beat our Fieros on the track or whatever... Can he prove it? I can prove that I can keep up with and usually beat modded 300ZXs (I can post links to official results to a few autocrosses)
