FieroRumor, what started your interests with mantis'? And how much for a pod? Do you keep them in your house all the time or do you end up releasing them? I think it is an interesting hobby. Fish are personally my hobby.
I like fish, Just happen to like the mantis.. It is amazing that a creature with a brain THAT small is as smart as it is...
I like odd stuff.
I first got interested in the mantis when one adopted me when I was a kid. When I went to mow the lawn, It used to fly out of the bushes and land on my head. Odd critter.

I really only got back into them this past year, when I bought a few egg cases from the garden store, and watched them hatch outside. In the fall, I found one of them , not in the best shape, and brought it inside...That started up that whole "Manty" stuff (or maybe it was just a rebound thing after "Thingie")

it was posted here sometime last year, everything was painted, calipers, rotors, all bright red. he had pics up too so you can see his handywork first hand! it was a good laugh, the Darwin candidate didn't post his stop results though
