I don't understand why when people post pictures of there car, they black out the license plate with paint. When you drive down the road everyone sees you plate number so whats the difference if people on the internet see it???
To me at least it's a privacy thing. To some of the more female in gender, I'd think it's more serious in that do you really want some person seeing a picture of you on the internet and decide they are in love with you and track your name/address/phone number from your plate and stalk you? Seeing someone go by on the highway is one thing, seeing pictures of 'em posed in front of their car is another.
Of course, this is my opinion - your mileage may vary.

i was working on my fiero one day in my apartments parking lot, and i had this girl pull in the parking lot in a 95 or so T/A. plate says NOTAV6
well anyway she comes up to me and says shes been eyeballin my car when she drives down the street and was wanting to meet the owner since its the cleanest looking fiero in the OKC area. besides madcurl when hes here. she introduced herself by askin me about my car, saying how nice it looks. she was saying how her first car was a fiero (a notchie). and the best thing of all, she has the pegasus tatt'd on her forearm!
i was so amazed that my parked fiero got a lady and happy to find a car chick, a fiero chick of all, that i wasnt thinking strait and didnt ask her for her number. i will next time tho. i see her driving past all the time. when i fire the car up in the next few....well whenever i get off my kiester and hook up the grounds, shorten the OPS wire and plug the redtop back in, ill wave her over and fire my car up with her. and get some pictures of her showing her love for fieros

I'm not looking for that kind of hookup. I am quite a bit older anyway (40), not to mention that my girlfriend of 3 years will be with me also. I am originally from Akron and I come up there every other year to spend the holidays with family and friends. I just try to hook up with Fiero friends also.

At the time it was a little to hot and fast to be jovial about, some people got way too carried away, and as I remember, someone got banned. IMHO it was a Real Fiero Tech incursion, but I have no proof. The Dark Side had a good laugh.
