I am sure the site will be changed and more stuff will be added as we go along, but the major stuff is there now. I will be creating flyers that can be downloaded, printed and handed out. I am also working on the T-shirt design for this year.
Collection for the charity raffle is just now beginning so if you know of anyone who might have something to donate to a good cause, please either send me their contact info or send them mine. Vendors who participate on this forum have always been good to support our run. If there are any vendors who I accidently leave out in my mailing, please don't hesitate to contact me. All donations are appreciated, Fiero related or not. Proceeds still go to St Judes so it is for a good cause.
I am also going to publish convoy information on the website this year so that people who might stumble across the website accidently might be able to get involved. If you want to lead a convoy from your area, please contact me with info that I can put on the site, including how someone should contact you. Thanks.

I haven't created in new stuff for the 4th Run yet. We're leaving for Vegas and when I get back in a week I'll start making the new designs.
I offered personalized shirts in previous years with the owner's own car on the design. If there is enough interest I will do that again this year. If not I'll just make one design and be done with it.

Okay, Dale, we're officially enrolled! We're going to join you all on Saturday for lunch this time, drive south, and stay Sat. night. If anyone else from the Bay Area wants to do that, we'd be glad to get in on or lead a convoy Sat. a.m. and coming back Sunday. I'll see if I can get some Jafra together to donate for the raffle too.

Whenever I get time to do the design! haha... I started last week but then we had to go to Vegas.. Now I am home but supposed to be leaving again... It will be soon. I'm trying to come up with something a little different than the previous three years. They were all slightly different but had the same basic theme. I'm trying to start from scratch this time. Glad you like the shirt...

Well great! Now I am getting spammed on the Coast Run sign up sheet! Luckily, so far, they are clicking every option, including Yes and No, on each event so they are easy to spot. And of course the 'Hey! Great site. Check out my site!" comment helps to spot it as spam too. I wonder why they are taking the time to fill out the form or if they have found some way to have a robot fill it out. Either way, since it just sends an e-mail to one person it hardly seems worth the trouble. But it does add one more step into the mix for me to keep the real signups separate from the fakes.

Not that we are in any danger of it yet, but I had one guy who is going to go on the HHR edition of the Coast Run who kept putting off getting his reservation and the hotel filled up so he had to book at another hotel and is paying double our rate...
Manesh says that we only have about 3 reservations so far including mine. If you think you are going to go to the Coast Run go ahead and book your room. If something comes up and you can't go all you have to do is call and cancel and you will not be charged. Why wait till the last minute and risk not getting a room. I guarantee that the hotel will fill up that weekend.
If you reserved it online, they don't have you as part of the group. If you call to confirm make sure and tell them you are with the group. Did you book online because it was cheaper? We are supposed to be getting his cheapest rate. I know we are at least $35 cheaper than just calling and asking for a reservation. And $50+ cheaper than the surrounding hotels.
Here is what I have so far... 1) Dale Houston (Marie) 2) Roy Welsh (Sandy) 3) Andrew Villasenor (Ann) 4) Chet Adriano 5) Janell Fleenor (Max) 6) Jeannie Clements (Jerry) 7) Roy Benjamins 8) Jess Roque (Patti) 9) Rick Whiteside (Jennifer)
Anyone else that thinks they have registered? If you are not on the list I didn't get your registration so please try again.

I sent Manesh the list from above last night so he could cross check and make sure he has everyone. He just wrote back an said he has everyone but 6 and 8. That is Janell and Jess.
For Jess it could be that Roy or Chet just booked both rooms in one name.
He suggests that both of you call him to make sure it is all straight.
Also, Rick and Jen, if you are still thinking about going with us on the run in September, call the Motel 6 down the road because Courtesy Inn is full. Actually, you can still get Saturday night at the Courtesy Inn, but they are full Friday. Motel 6 is $69 on Friday night and $89 on Saturday night.

Thanks Dale. We have been debating about that one. Stay one night or two? We just need to make a decision on that one *** must make decision***

Hey Dale! Thanks for confirming the reservations and printing the list! Maybe Manesh would donate the difference betwween the online AAA rate and our group rate to St. Jude's. Just a thought. I know he has been good to work w/you and accomodate our group, so that's the main thing since we want to keep going there.
HHR Question - We had an HHR rental car out of Portland over the weekend. Just the basic w/no options of course, but what is the sensor light in the headliner between the two sun visors? It was on when we left the parking garage for a few minutes and Jerry flipped it off just in case it was an interior camera, but then it went off and didn't come back on until a few days later when he and his friend were taking her mom back to her senior living center after having dinner, then it was on most of their way home they said. I couldn't find anything about it in the owner's manual, you must have to know what it's for to find a reference to it! We're all curious now!
Looking forward to the Coast Run, JC

The light between the visors shines down on the unlighted power window switches on the console. Did Jerry find a way to turn it off? Some people who don't like it are putting tape over it or pulling the power wire off. It doesn't bother me. My Corvette had one too. All it does is light the console.
