She is beginning to speak!

Hard to believe it's only been 33 days since a 9mm bullet went through her brain. The speech centers are primarily in the left brain, the same side the bullet devastated, so her being able to say a word, and more importantly, a word in context, is an incredibly positive sign of recovery. This is a pretty big step for her, and I'm sooooo glad to hear that she's progressing so well. I truly hope that she can maintain this pace of recovery.

What is really hard to believe is that you started two other threads about this subject because you did not like this one. You started a political one and a non political one. Neither got more than five posts but this thread is eleven pages long. Your threads died days before this one.
