Saturday, 1 PM good for me too. Only thing turning me back is bad weather. Like NEWGT, I don't like taking the Formula out in bad weather. Cold is OK, as long as clear skies. I'll be there, definately!
Hay NEWGT, the Seville diner is on the Southbound side, heading AWAY from Rt.1.
....military fact!!!!!..what was the ONLY thing that turned back the heavy B-17bomber crews of WWII ? If you said "bad weather" you were right. And they were one tuff group of guys.

It's about Fieros not states, so please come if you can make it down.

BTW, I was born in the Bronx and grew up on Long Island.

Last I heard, we might get a little sprinkeling tonight, but it suppose to be clear, but cold, this Saturday. So lets warm up the Fieros, turn up the heaters, and meet as planned Saturday.

Have you actually heard from Dennis LaGrua and Joe Torma, I have spoken with Dennis before and from where he lives it will be close to a 60 minute drive for him and possibly Joe also, depending on where in Hillsborough he lives. I will be coming with my Fiero if there is no snow, ice or salt (My Fiero tires are Kumho MX's which are practically slicks), but I may still come with my daily driver anyway if the weather doesn't cooperate. Too bad we didn't try this two weeks ago.

By the way, my real name is Mike Hammer. Perhaps the rest of you who don't use your real names on Pennock's can chime in with your names also.

sorry, I won't be able to do this weekend. The transmission crapped out in my Mercedes SUV and I'll be spending quality time with it.
I'll definitely be catching up with y'all soon. Hopefully, my Fiero will be ready within a month or two.

NEW GT- The only people I actully spoke with are GECKO ( John) and FIERO815 (ED) over the phone. As I mentioned a few posts back, I hope everyone will post a message tommorrow about whats up. Theres a paper thin layer of snow on the ground right now, by noon tommorrow I'm sure it will be gone. No salt hs been spread, so bring your finest.
If I haven't already posted this, my name is Bob Ricci. I live around 8 minutes from the Seville Diner, so I can be your weatherman for how things look 'round here Saturday.
Once again, if this turns into something, and I sure hope it does, we'll always bring up the first meet at the Seville. So the more Fieros present, the founder that memory will be. Out of the 10 who posted messages on this topic, I really hope a minimum of 5 show up. This is the challange I mentioned before.
.....5 "yes" posts, by tommorrow....early evening, so we all know whats going on....
My number is 1-732-723-0268.
Oh yea, in case I forget, somebody bring a camera, OK ?

Hi guys. Ryan and I will be there. We'll have to head home by 3 because he has work. We got the wheel well liner back in without replacing the headlight controller (it won't arrive until Tuesday) so we're good to go. If it's not dark or raining we're legal. I'll bring the camera. By the way, did anyone see the car at http://newjersey.craigslist.org/car/258030164.html ? What do you think of the price? How much would you pay for a very good condition 90K GT? Ed

Hey guys,
I'll be picking up some Fiero parts in PA, on Saturday so I'm not exactly sure I'll be back in time...and if I do make it, it'll be without my Fiero("it'll never be done")

Joe, what kind of parts would those be. I have a ton of parts left over from rebuilding my Fiero, perhaps I can help.

If anyone has an extra gas pedal, or that shifter surround part that goes around the bottom but always warps. I would appreciate it.

I will bring the few things I have incase anyone needs them (sorry I don't have more) but don't have a spare car while in New Jersey

Most of the extra parts I have are for the 2.8 engine (extra heads and intakes, mostly). Plus a bunch of the smaller body panels/trim (left over from a stage 2 conversion), a rear bumper (with a nasty, but fixable gash), multiple GT tail lamps, a first gen headlamp harness and motors, etc. I even have an extra sunroof.

well the water pump didn't go as planned but i'm going to work more on it today in the snow. either way me and my wife are coming. i prefer to have my fiero with me but if this water pump doesn't work out today then i'll have my 98 accord. oh yeah, real names... lol... I'm David Pendergast and my wife is Tami Conners. she kept her last name due to a bunch of legal crap but it doesn't bother me in the least. my son's last name is the same as mine and that's what really matters. if you need to get a hold of me it's 845-635-3064. i'll let you all know what car i'm taking before i leave. see ya soon.

edit: i have an alt for a duke if anybody needs it. let me know before i leave.

woohoo! i think i found out what was wrong with the water pump install... so... i'm going to test it tonight on a long run and see how she does. the pipe that comes out the side of the pump was leaking i forgot the teflon tape... oops. it was cold and i was tired and just wanted it done and overwith. if all goes well tonight on my longer run i will be bringing my fiero. just figured i would give an update and push this back to the top.

any chance you have an extra sunroof latch? My sunroof likes to fall down on me after hitting a few bumps.

Hi,

I am Ed's wife Cathy and I'm rsvp'ing for them because they won't see this post by dinnertime. So to confirm, Ed and Ryan will be there tommorrow, no matter what .

They will be in a red 87 GT. I just took a ride in it for the first time today, it's a really cool car.

Gecko,

I do believe that there is a latch on the sunroof, but its buried in the back of my garage and I am not sure if I can get to it by tomorrow.

By the way, as I feared, there is salt all over the roads here, some areas are worse than others, so I may not bring my Fiero tomorrow (I will be driving a silver metallic 2001 Protege ES in that case) . Either the roads were really icy this morning or the goverment overreacted to the situation (sometimes I thing the body shops and new car dealerships run this part of the government).

Fierofrenzy,

Your original post was for us to meet at 1PM, but your most recent post is for 12:30PM, I am fine with either time, but which is it?

Hi Cathy...Thank you for being so considerate and posting for your husband so soon. I'll be lookin' out for that 87 GT . Sounds nice ! Lookin forward to meetin' ED and your son too. Remember, this ws his idea in the first place, and a good one at that.

New GT - BRING THE FIERO!!!!!!!!!!!! By tommorrow the salt will be so driven into the pavement I doubt it will harm anything on your ride. You'll be on well driven highways most of the way anyway. They'll be clean.Your inner fenders and body are salt resistant plastic anyway! And I'm bringin' my 88 Formula. BRING THE FIERO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be at the Seville 12:30 to make sure we have a table. I'm also gonna mention to the manager about whats goin' on and that their diner was chosen as the initial meeting place. I'm sure they'll like to hear that. You guy's show up 1:00, as planned. Besides, I can't wait till 1, I'll probably be up 4 in the morning eager to get this going, unable to fall back asleep.

EVERYBODY ELSE - post now - then FIERO TOMMORROW ! .....we need them for impressive pictures too ! It definately wiil be worth your while,so show up !

Bob, I have to admit that Cathy was impersonating me on the forum when she wrote about starting a club. The original impetus came from our friend RPRO from the Mile High Fiero Club. John also knows him from the holiday gift exchange. RPRO turned us on to Fieros and felt that we'd get more from the ownership experience if we could share it locally. So that's how it got started. Yes now I have revealed myself and have my own userid.

Nice to see another female on board. Sorry I will miss it tomorrow but I’m sure there will be another meeting. I think we can develop a good club here.
