Thought I would throw out a teaser of just a couple of the raffle prizes we will be giving away this year...
Brand new 87 rear sway bar. Brand new 88 rear sway bar. 203 piece tool kit. Diecast cars. Carbon fiber parts. Battery relocation kit.
If that is not enough to get you to come, you should see the rest of this stuff! I'm going to have to bring my truck again and let Rie drive the Fiero over!
At my last count we have 23 pre-regs but only 12 hotel reservations made. It's less than two weeks away... Time to get signed up now so you don't miss out on anything! Just the cool freebies in the goodie bags make it worth coming!

I put that on my "do to" list. Also, I'll be sending a reminder email to our mailing lists, that gets to around 300 people here on the west coast.

Yep.. I found a bunch of them about a week and a half ago. But not all the diecasts are Fieros. I have another collectible diecast that was donated by one of the large vendors.

It looks like there's a possibility that I wont be able to make it. Car has developed a fatal problem. I started a thread here on my issue: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/057065.html Please read it and help get my car running again in time for the coast run! You too, pokey!

Good luck, Steven. I hope you can get it worked out so you can make it. Better that it happens now than up on the Coast Highway somewhere. This brings up a good point that everyone should pack some minor maintenance items and tools. Not a good place to get stranded up there.

Don't worry about it Pokey, I ended up picking up a remanufactured computer today so I could get my car running sooner. My car is now running! Now I just need some glass beads so I can sandblast and paint my remaining two wheels and I'll be pretty much ready for the coast run.
also... I was wondering if anyone would like a passenger on the actual run. I don't wanna be in the slow group again, and since I have a little 4 banger... AND this car has to last me thru college, I was kinda hopin' someone who's planning to be in the fast group would let me ride along with them. Please? I'll be a little angel... even if my knuckles are white afterwards. hahaha. but hey, all kidding aside... anyone willing to lemme ride along?
the above quote still holds true. anyone? Scotties giving me a ride the second half, but I kinda gotta get up to carmel.
Other reasons I don't want to drive: - in all honesty, I'm not a good enough driver for what I want to do yet - I really want to be in the fast group for once - uhm... that's about it.
pretty please guys? Janell

Nancy missed the Run last year but says she is definitely going this year... I'm sure there will be someone with an empty seat on the way up, Janell... Just come on up on Friday night and hang out...

Are you guys bringing two cars, John? Looks like we will be. I'll be bringing the truck again with the raffle prizes...
Probably, but we don't know if Mary is going to get down there Friday night or Saturday in Carmel. I'm worried about her driving at night with all the deer on highway 41. She doesn't see well at night, and doesn't like driving long distances, let alone at night.
haha. no, I don't scream. I just get really quiet when I'm scared.

Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to make it up Friday night. I have a football game that I have to go to, and my parents aren't too happy about paying for my escapades... which is why I'm paying, and have to choose between my senior class ring, or staying there Saturday night. don't we all love choices?

Today I took the 3.5 out for the longest drive yet. We used just about a full tank on this drive. We went to Bakersfield to see Rie and Songman. Went great Looking forward to the Run

Scott and I were helping Andrew today with his 3.4, and I will probably go out there again tomorrow. Maybe Scott and I can stop by and give you a hand with your car later in the day.

I haven't had time to try and start it this morning because i'm headed off to church. but keep your finger's crossed, and all we'll have to do is get that pulley off. Thanks for the help, if you want you could stop by after 3? or whenever's best for you. Does Ms. Bear remember how to get to my house??
I'm still coughing my brains out. It's getting old in a hurry. I'm surprised I was able to work as long as I did.
you've got that too bear? I'm coughing up a storm... haven't had my voice for 5 days, and I can't breathe right. grrrr. it's hella annoying. Hope you feel better by Friday!!! or earlier, even
