Good idea. When I get my F6 widetrack finished I'll also be touring shows. I'd like to do that Daytona thing once.

The gauge pod is still very rough and needs alot of work still

The vents are from a Taurus X

The vent pods are modified Home Depot Plumping section 90 degree bends

Nice. As I've always said, you don't need to have a dash swap from various makes of cars--just add onto the existing Fiero dash.

Seems like a cool idea. But with that kit, it kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it? You still have to put in the key and turn it to accessory, then press the button to start it. The cool factor is there, but just seems like it'd get annoying. I could have just misinterpreted the ad though...

It's cool but i've been wanting to put this in my car. I do not have the funds but it would be awesome to have. It is a keyless entry and push button start like the newer infiniti's have. I believe they even have it so when you walk up your car unlocks and when you get out of range it locks.

I bought a new style (PK3) ignition lock cylinder with keys on ebay, and it came with the ignition lock cylinder, glove box lock, and one door cylinder, with 2 keys. They're really nice, but took forever to get here, coming from Canada via standard post.

Don't have them installed yet, and the ignition switch I got for it doesn't fit in the Fiero anywhere stock (though with a custom dash, you could add a place for it easily). And the lock cylinder itself won't fit in the stock Fiero location either, as far as I can tell.

Curious. What type of foam did you use for forming the new parts of the dash? I've got a parts car now, and I'm looking forward to getting started on the custom dash for my car. Trying to find a good option for making a large single piece to mold from.

Looking good btw! Thanks.

Owens Corning FOAMULAR® 150 extruded polystyrene insulation from HomeDepot

It must be covered because the fiberglass resin will eat it (I will cover it with Bondo but you can use tape or other material)

I have used that foam as well, and if I am using it for a form that will be destroyed, I cover it with saran wrap. Also, when I have made up pods and such, I use soft aluminum as a frame, so I can have really solid mounting points.

Steve, great job. See you at Fierofest? Todd and I will be there in my 87 T-top.

Won the Viewer's Choice at NWMotiv.com's International Automotive Showcase 2010

A lot of very nice imports. My Fiero, a Chev 4X4 and 2 low riders were the American made minority

Any update on this? Also, are you selling parts from the sideskirts and bumpers you molded?
