Guys,

Okay, I've decided to put in another order for the badges, and hopefully they'll turn out correct. This time, I will only order enough for you guys, and no more. So pls let me know if I got this straight before I order. Again, the silver (both nose and door tabs) will have "CORPORATE CONCEPTS" along the bottom. The gold will not. All will have the trim around the edges.

Indy:
1 x gold nose badge
1 x silver nose badge
2 x gold door tabs
4 x silver door tabs

Johnyrottin
1 x gold nose badge
2 x gold door tabs
1 x silver nose badge
2 x silver door tabs

Rick:
2 x silver door tabs

Julian:
1 x gold nose badge
3 x silver door tabs

Nelson:
1 x gold nose badge
1 x silver nose badge

Dan:
1 x gold nose badge
1 x silver nose badge
extra stuff

Ivan:
1 x silver nose badge
2 x silver door tabs

Dana:
2 x gold nose badge
4 x gold door tabs

Pricing will be:
$10 per nose badge
$5 per the smaller door tab
Shipping included in prices.

I won't get down there to later this week, so pls be patient

Tom

Success!

Gold nose badges and door tabs:

Silver nose badge and door tabs:

Every badge and door tab will be protected in individual ziplock bags:

Every order will get a few of the badges and/or door tabs from the "that's just wrong" order, no extra charge. Good for coffee mugs, pen holders, office, back of cell phone, etc.

Yep, it looks cool here!

Dan, I messed up on your order, I only have one gold nose badge and one silver nose badge for you. But I have several correct silver door tabs if you'd like those.

Okay, so here's the damage:

Indy: $50.00
JohnnyRottin: $40.00
Rick: $10.00
Julian: $25.00
Nelson: $20.00
Dan: $20.00
Ivan (Mera Cop): $20.00
Dana: $40.00

Indy, Johnny, Ivan, and Dana...please PM me your mailing address and I will get these out ASAP. Rick, Julian, Nelson, Dan...I already have your mailing address, so no need to PM me. In the package I will include my paypay e-mail address. If you like the badges, you can pay for them at that time. If you don't like them, just send them back to me.

Again...I cannot attest to the longevity of these items. I clear coated mine and seems to hold up fine. Its completely up to you if you want to do so. Wash them very gently with Dawn and your fingers, rinse, air dry, and spray with Duplo high gloss crystal clear. Shake can WELL...at first it will look dull, but it will dry clear. Your pick on mounting...either tape or in the case of the door tabs, I just used one small drop of super glue (and I do mean one SMALL drop).

Cheers,
Tom
Edit: I don't believe it!!! My FIRST page!! LOL...well, actually my second page!

Rick, really nice job on lowering the Mera! It is just perfect now!

Nice photos Julian! Wow, the weather looks so nice and clear there. That is a perfect backdrop to your Mera

Dick, I like that badge! Is that on your Mera? Hmmmm....you got me thinking!!

The "Stinkin' Badges" will be mailed out this morning to:

Indy, JohnnyRottin, Julian, Nelson, Rick, and Dan. They will be in a small padded envelope (look like miniture manila envelope with the bubble wrap inside). Open carefully along the side!! Don't use scissors.

Still waiting for addresses from Dana and Ivan.

Gotta run!
Tom

Well, I always thought that "Contemporary Concepts" raised more questions than it answered. So, I "photoshopped" my nose badge, printed it, covered it with packing tape, mounted it with double faced tape and took a pic. Matching the font color was the hardest part. Anyway, it's probably good 'til we get our next rain--couple years ;-)

I like it. So, if anyone wants the .jpg file, it's yours. Yeah, Tom, it you're thinking what I think you're thinking, I'll take one!

this is rather boss as well......
the Fiero Option breakdown numbers....1987 and 1988, only. all numbers are in %'s

the full scoop is here http://www.westcoastfieros....osts.asp?TID=41&PN=1

Option .....................1987 1988
Engine: Iron Duke 4 60.5 % 54.3 %
Engine: High-RPM V6 39.5 45.7
Transmission: 4-Speed 0.0 0.0
Transmission: 5-Speed 45.4 52.4
Transmission: Auto 54.6 47.6
Wheels: Alloy 62.1 99.9
Air Conditioning 93.2 89.3
Power Windows (STD on GT) 7.0 13.3
Power Door Locks 36.9 33.2

AM/FM Stereo: Radio 36.8 15.5

mine?? its a sunroof....one of only 35.8% total made for 1987 appearently.....thats cool
you see that the power windows are only in 7% of the 1987 Fieros....really? awesome to have that option in a low production FieroSE....1987 edition. collecting is so much fun in hindsight

seems that as a Fiero, ole X has got some cool options to boot.

i like that.......kind of stuff

see one good thing about saving every picture Mera, i have ever seen. its that i can confirm without Rick getting under his car....well unless you 1988 Mera guys aint got that door scoop air box...cuz Mera#7071 does

now i know we cant see the box but its got the "piping".
so as of right now #6001, #7071 and Mera X have the DoorScoop Airbox!
which for me RULES!!! this may be the last "in NO Way, is Mera X, a kit" feature

and this is a Kit that IndyRestoGuy has, i think and look no air box.....

this molded airbox may be the best Kit/Mera confirmation yet, no?? chime in if you know of a Kit with that feature

Dan,

I have every part you can see in the above picuture. What I am not sure of it the part shown from underneath your car. If I have time tomorrow I will get under mine and compare it to your other picture.

Dan, the pics are a little confusing..... How do I check for an air box? Is it part of the fiberglass? Because the red kit you just posted is of the fiberglass only. Or is it mounted to the spaceframe? What's the flshlight trick?

comes right out of the bottom of the black air filter can....here

hopefully you can see thats it is tapped into that fiberglass "box"......this view is thru the screen over the opening.

shine a flashlight thru the door scoop bird screen to see if you have a hole for the intake Filter. fresh air in, seems like a good thing thru here.....the pic above the whole kit shell is of Mera #7071 in the process of a rather large eng swap...V8 i believe

there is a hole between the rear drivers wheel and the wheel well itsself.....directly under the door scoop. i just shove my camera up in it and click....

i had X, jacked up because of a in garage flat earlier in this year and noticed that air box.
i could always hear a sucking noise and now i know why.....forced air induction RAM AIR if you will!! now for a new design with modern air filtershumm....what can be done here??

not sure if this will help but i got the back drivers tire in for reference....just behind the wheel well cover
the black at the top of the photo is the coolant hose after the metal pipe.
the bottom white/red arrow points to the AirBox......

guess where else i have seen this "air box" bet you cant???
d

now i see this will help....

the black glass on the left is the bottom of my door scoop. the water is seepage from washing it. so this pic is off by 90 degrees.

forced air intake....dare i say, true cold air intake?? maybe??..... 'specally on a cool, brisk morn

That is kind of funny--the url was really long so I decided to use tiny. Guess my clipboard had some other stuff in it--sure glad it wasn't one of those naughty sites I've been frequenting ;-)

I corrected it--if anyone still cares

So the prototype is for sale? What's the asking price?
What is the groups feeling on the value of a MERA?
