Mera's are amazing and I miss mine a lot!

British Racing Green is what I had planned to paint this car but it is a current faded red. You will nee to ask Dave what color he plans to use when the car is repainted.

Just for fun and to test the new PFF photo posting methodology, here are a few photos on my formerly black Mera that is currently in the paint shop. The new color is Lake Elkheart Blue Metallic IIRC.

BTW, the new image loader worked very well on these smaller photos.

Just a guess, but is your door sagging little and resting on the door jam stud/latch pin? Worn hinges are a common problem and I needed to adjust and lubricate mine even after 70k miles. The latch pin will also wear.

Dan, thank you so much ! I hope this means Rexie has a new owner who will appreciate and care for him. Fieros and Meras are not just cars, they are family.

This is the Mera that got me interested in the Mera. I saw it for sale in Auto Trader back in 2011. Loved it, yellow, 5 spd, t-tops, I was in love, sadly I couldn't afford it. Fast forward to last fall, purchased a V8 custom Fiero believing that a decent Mera was N/A. Saw this on Ebay and a little of me died inside. strange though that is disappeared with 1 day left on the bid at $14,700.
Not sure if it sold or taken of market. Ironically, it's about 1.5 hours away. Someday I will own one, fingers crossed.

MrMWS, I do suspect the yellow Mera, #7029, was sold. Maybe we will hear from the new owner?

It is still in the paint shop due to some health issues with the painter. However, I do hope to be able to start reassembly in a couple of months. This specific car has a 3800 SC Series II engine installed with the Getrag 282 and I look forward to driving it again.

This is a 328 kit with some *ahem* unusual custom treatments, but not a Mera. Thank you for the heads-up; someone might be interested?

Will do, asking price is $23,000.00. There is interest and general opinion is that is a great price.

I'm not on fb either, my wife has it for family and is a member of the KCFOG fiero group, that's how she founf the Mera group.

Hi! First post here.
My name is Natalie, and I just picked up Mera 7029 about 2 days ago. I'm located in Mableton, GA and recently read through here and all the posts about 7029 and the caretakers of it beforehand. I want to learn as much as I can about these cars and keep 7029 on the road for many years to come!

You have a very nice MERA, congratulations on your purchase. Mine had Ferrari badges when I got it, one of the first things I did was put MERA badges back on it. I like having 1 of 247 better than 1 of 12,000.
