He is in El Reno. I have no clue what time he will be arriving in OKC. Did I misread the schedule? He said the bus was running late, but that Joplin was going to be on time. Any help here guys?

Brad is calling him no to try and get things sorted out. Updates coming asap. I'm thinking maybe the schedule is in PST and doesn't take into account the time zone change?
At the station now.2 things. I forgot my gun and my Fiero is running like crap. Keeps dying when I stop unless I keep the idle up. Oh well...
Vacuum leak? Getting any codes from the ECM?
I'm not sure what to tell you about the bus running late other than the schedule that was posted earlier had all times in local time and that they're approximations. Maybe ask a desk clerk for an update for the colfax to joplin bus?

Well, he made it to the OKC station and is already gone. They got there at 4:55PM and I was on my way back. The driver is way behind schedule so he isn't stopping and they left 5 minutes later. I unfortunately was about 1 mile away when they pulled out. He was complaining that the driver is a massive dick and has skipped the last 2 or 3 stops. If you are planning on meeting him in Tulsa get with him to find out exactly when he will be there and if they are stopping for more than 5 minutes. My apologies to Kris, I had waited there for about 30 minutes before I found out he was way behind, I guess I should have just stayed, but I wanted to grab my truck so I can sit it in and not be raped by flies.

You did your best, and I remember those dang Oklahoma flies in the summer--some of em bite too.
Regarding the idle issue, it seemed to stop when I pulled into the garage. It is a 3.4TDC with a 5speed and has always done it a little if I didn't "blip" the throttle. This simply would not stay running if I didn't keep the RPMs up. I thought it would go away after it warmed up, but it didn't seem to, until just as I was stopping driving it.

Tulsa, but they might only stop for a few minutes again. Not sure what is going on, but the driver is in a massive hurry.
If thats the case maybe someone should get behind the bus, tip off the PO-PO and when everyone gets off the bus while the driver is getting a ticket, hook Kris up with a nice cold drink and a sammich

I really dont no any of the sercumstances, but that is just amazing for you to be willing to open your house to someone you barely no. I hope everything goes well! Sometimes people just need a new start, and its hard when your in the place were the problem is. You are awsome!

Having never been on a greyhound, how do they do the driver thing? Do they rotate out drivers after so many hours? I know they can't drive for 48 hours straight..
Just need him to do something stupid or buy another car
Only minutes away from that. Did Kris and Rick get their tattoos in Frazzee? I must have missed that thread. Nice work though. Cough. Cough.
When it is possible, please list things that are needed to make life easier on you all. I know that you are not looking for handouts, but everyone needs certain things to survive.
Congrats Kris. Sleep for a few days, then start your life.
A word of advice..... don't go sneaking off with Brads handcream.

I just gave him the "grand tour", and , after he stopped crying, and I was able to get him out of the fetal posisiton we promptly turned on the laptops, and he is catching up on everything he has missed over the past few days.
to EVERYBODY on here. The amount of help Kris has got from you guys has exceeded my wildest expectations, from the donations, and the phone calls, and words of advise, to members driving 5 hours just to meet up, this has been an amazing ride.
