I've got some family down in Tulsa, but like you say by the time he in town he's right back on the bus pretty quick. Tulsa is only 2 hours from Joplin too so he's pretty much done with his trip by then so he can survive being stinky for another couple of hours

I almost got him some type of "smelly stuff" but I never took a ride on a bus like that and I did not want to offend him by implying he was less than "hygienic" I did put some gum in the "care package" we made for him to pick thru.

If anything he can always find a sink and splash some water on himself and wipe off with a paper towel. I've done that before on long hot trips. Better than nothing at least.

Good luck Kris! I know exactly what you're going through, so cheers to starting a new life! It may seem hard at times, but you've got the whole forum behind you, which is at least 17 times more powerful than the Canadian Army, just sayin'.
Having discussed it over with twofatguys, I want to raffle off a set of Fiero Fiberglass Tapered Gt Ground Effects. All the money (over my cost) will go to help Antuzzi adjust to his new life while he seeks gainful employment. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/082370.html

WHAT THE HELL???? This is what I get for avoiding OT so much, I miss things like this.
Kris - I am so glad you are finally getting yourself out of a dangerous, nonproductive environment. If there is anything you need when you get to your destination, please PM me and I will do what I can. Please use this opportunity to find yourself, and see what life has in mind for you. Never give up, no matter how bad things may look.
Brad - You sir are a saint. You are just what Kris needed in his life, and I am damn glad you were there for him. I knew his home life wasn't the greatest, but never truly knew just how bad it was. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Unfortunately, I haven't got a penny to send right now, but prayers and good vibes are on the way.
I honestly didn't think it would happen. Too much drama. But I'm glad he's on the bus! I sent some $$ a few days ago for a nice steak dinner. Keep us updated Brad, if he needs anything else.
My best wishes are with him. I moved away from a hard situation 4 years go, so I know what it's like.

If anybody needs a shower but can't get to one, I found that baby-wipes are surprisingly refreshing.. Get the non-scented tho..
Back in Detroit, we called that a ho-bath! Thanks for the memories.
BOH.... Please take that pic of Rick as a tramp stamp off the forum. I am currently typing by feel, due to lack of vision. I heard a burning sound......then blindness occured.

We have extra blankets and bedding that we can send. Brad where do would you like it sent to? I hope the forum can help tuzzi. He flew from CA to MN to work on the Tyler Project. To me that makes him a special person who deserves the same back.

Oh, I think he is "special". He was in Phoenix at 7pm when I talked to him. Apparently he fell off the bus.

Oh I bet he hasnt experienced winter or mid west thunderstorms/ tornado warnings etc. This will be a good experience. My oldest daughter moved to San Francisco and lived there for quite a while. When she and her husband moved back to GR, she had forgotten thunder and lightning.
Will he need some cold weather clothing? Brad can we send you any of these things?
Brad you remind me of a fellow Fiero member who passed on, NeverTwoOld. Cliff would help anyone he could. If Cliff was still with us he would probably would be driving out to MO with a car full of stuff for tuzzi! Keep up the good work! Peace be with you, Steve W. NE Grand Rapids, MI 88 Coupe

Brad, a big THANK YOU to you and your wife for what you're doing for Chris. It's hard to open your home to strangers, yet you've done just that. I just sent you some bucks via paypal...not much, but I know every little bit helps!

An amazing place. Not getting around to other forums much, is this kind of compassion & follow-up physical & monitary effort mostly unique to this forum?
I hope not. Is the whole world mostly like this, we just never really hear about it?

I'd like to give a big thumbs-up to Brad (and his wife), everyone who helped arrange the bus trip, and everyone who donated to the "Save the Tuzzi" fund. I'd also like to give a thumbs-up to Kris for having the testicular fortitude to pack up and move halfway across the country to start a new life.
You all have renewed my faith in humanity.

Hmm... I started giving out positive ratings to people who helped, but ran up against the 10 rating per day limit. I guess I'll have to come back tomorrow.

I actually want a negative rating for helping. No need handing out positives for people just doing the right thing. I want to earn my stripes.

I am a member on many forums. No other forum I have participated in is anything like PFF. I am not going to detail all the kinds acts I have witnessed here, but I have never seen anything close elsewhere. People here have changed and touched others lives many times. It is something special and I am glad I am here to witness it and be a part of this great community.
On a side note, I think we should start a campaign to see if we can actually ban Cliff from his own site.
