Does it automatically. The B-spec driver will pit when the tires are too worn. Don't know about gas, have always pitted before I ran out. Although I've heard that even if you run out of gas on the course you can still drive back to the pits at 45 mph, or something like that. I just make sure to give him a powerful enough car.
Here's some pics of the M3 CSL:
I would take and M3 over any car on the planet

Ahh just great......I was hurrying out the door and accidentaly turned off the PS2 to soon and deleted my GT4 file now I have to restart over......... *sigh* Well at least I know the tricks....but still....well im off to catch up
Yup, they're licensed as a manufacturer in Germany. I forget the exact details, but they only get the chassis from Porsche, and since the cars are assembled in their factory they qualify as a manufacturer. Only 25-30 cars per year, IIRC. If they were just a tuner, they wouldn't own the rights to the actual car design.
my game wont load now after it says sony whatever it got the auto load thing in the corner then just freezes what could be the problem I dont want to lose my 100 or so cars.

Ahhh ok. Now it makes sense. I'm after something new now though. Couldnt believe it was on here. But after seeing it on the list of prize cars I must have one. Pictures to follow soon.
EDIT: I got it. hehehe. It isnt the fastest or best handling or anything but its a blast to drive. The 1968 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia.

OK - I give - how did you get that little pile of doo doo also known as the Lupo to run fast enough to win the Karman Ghia? I love those little things, and want that car badly, but my Lupo just can't quite seem to pull it off. When I drive it - it seems pretty fast, but on B spec mode - she struggles mightily.
Settings? Thoughts? Any help appreciated.

I just drove it fully modified on a-spec and didnt have any trouble. Only settings I changed were a major lowering and changed the brakes to hit harder in front. Weight transfer and all.

I ended up just using the Autobianchi A112 Abarth 1979 because I had won it in one of the beginner hall races.

All I have to say is AC. I bought a AC cobra, and a AC cobra shelby. I was in aww the amount of races they qualify for. They utterly dominate anything I put them in other than the Real Race car challenges. Between the two cars I can race in most American and european races aswell as enduro's. Totally eats up anything in the beginners league and proffessional league. I must own one of these in real life. Even if I have to sell a few Fiero's to get it.

OK, you will need a computer and internet connection. PC, Linux, and Mac will all be ok to use. (The mac version is still being worked on atm though) Go to http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/
On the Xlink website, Click the "Sign Up" button on the top of the page. And fill out the info and sign up.
Click on the "Downloads" button at the top of the page. Then select the version that is compatible with your OS and download it.
After you've downloaded the program, extract and install. Follow all the instructions and then log in with name and password you signed up with.
Once logged in, click the button to go into arena mode and you can see what games currently have people playing. Everything is sorted. First it's sorted by Console/system, then by game.
For a full list of Xlink compatible games, click here:
If you wish to know how exactly Xlink works, go to the link provided for the website. Then click on the "FAQs" button at the top of the page. Most questions will be answered there.

I got tired of all of you having to much fun without me so I went out and bought a playstation so I could play GT4 too.
Couple of questions though.
Can make two saves to one memory card? I don't see anyway to do that yet and I don't want to buy a second memory card just for my wife to be able to save a game.
Why does the HP rating get reported differently in various places. For example when I look at my lancer in my garage it is listed as 301HP but when a replay starts it is listed as 297HP. I read the trick about changing the oil and that didn't change anything.
That's it for now. I will post some pictures when I have some time to play and get a cool car or two.

Yes, you can make another save file on the same memory card. You should be able to select a blank slot when you go to save your game.
Also, as for the HP rating, it's a little lower on used cars. I think it's to compensate for the miles on the car and the abuse the motor has been put through. lol
