I will be happy to take it up for a ride so that it does not have to stay at the track! If you get bored, you can play with one of the Meras.

There will be Fiero people joining us from up north. Coming south to thaw out. I guess they would like to enjoy that high 70's weather we are enjoying.

Again Space Coast Fieros have rooms at the Holiday Inn

http://spacecoastfieros.com/hotel/

If the front desk can not help you, have them transfer you up to Theresa Graves in the sales office!!

This pic will give you an idea of the hotel location. The hotel is in the lower L/H side of the pic just off of I-95.
The Fiero parking is in turn four (4) just under the Richard Petty Blvd located in the upper R/H side of the pic of course inside the track.
This images is larger than 153600 bytes. Click to view.

This is a little closer shot of the hotel and its location to I-95.
This images is larger than 153600 bytes. Click to view.
Get off of I-95 and go east to INDIGO Dr and double back toward the Holiday Inn Express at 2620 W International Speedway Blvd.

You might see this guy-Alex from WPB.

Of course I will show up but I am not to sure about the car in front of me.

Phil will show up if his "engine" does not give up.

Would be nice to see this again---HINT-HINT

STILL WITH ME?

The END.

Scott would love to make the trip in his 1959 Caddy but alas that would also be only in his dreams.

Try your best Scott as I would like to meet the person that loves Caddy's so much, not to mention that 65(?) GTO.

Phil's "engine" is looking forward to the trip. My T-top is buried in snow at the moment. Minus 1 this morning and not much warmer right now, but tomorrow we're getting a heat wave......all the way into the 30's Phil's sick of getting rid of all the snow we've been getting. Two storms predicted this week. At least a new cover of snow will cover up all the old "dirty" snow along the roads

Counting the days! Looking forward to shorts and T-shirts instead of goose down, gloves and knit hats......and, of course, seeing all of you.

I remember the photo shoot on the beach when the tide started coming in and there was a mad rush to get the cars out of the water.
Notice the water line and compare it to the last picture.
I only had the car for five years at that time.
I THINK I can see my car but I am not really sure if it is mine. (Old age setting in).

You need to register with the Daytona Racing District to get into the track. This year the Fiero group is having a cruise in, rather than a judged show. Review this thread for proposed events during the weekend events that will be scheduled.

You should get a post card in the mail that you bring to the "show car gate", present that and you drive in.

I sent in my info and money to Daytona to register my car back in middle of Dec.
I sent them an e-mail asking when I can expect to get it in the mail.
On Jan 12 they e-mailed me saying that I will receive it within two weeks.
I am still waiting.

Talked it over with the wife this week and we are planning on coming to Daytona this year, our first trip to Daytona with the Fiero.

We have a few things to get done before we come, but we should make it. We need to get the transmission re-built and a new exhaust on the car. Already scheduled it and we should have enough time to get it all done. Won't have the car painted this time, but maybe by the next time we get to come it will be painted properly. Hope everyone can put up with a sunburnt 88 Fiero Gt with a 3800 SC in it.

CowsPatoot are you bringing the convertible to Daytona?

Hello everyone,
I am new to posting in PFF, but not to reading. I had to make a profile so I could post on this one though. I am 19 and live in Lakeland, I would LOVE to make it there with my father, but I would only be able to make it on Saturday. I read this post about a month ago, I am soooo excited!!!! (Hint: I can't wait) When and where will we meet up to park next to eachother Saturday at Daytona? Or are we going to be in a specific area in the field from the get go?
Thanks, Curtis

GuitarFiero

Welcome to the club.
At Daytona, the Fiero's will be parked in "Turn Four" of course inside the track.
We usually leave from the Hotel around 8AM or so but you can come and go as you please.

Click on the icon and you will see a pic of turn four. In the center of the pic you will see two white buildings and that is were we will park.

This images is larger than 153600 bytes. Click to view.

Scroll up to the top of this page than scroll down to the 5th post for some more info on the Hotel and turn four.

Thanks LT188GT,
My dad and I always go to the Turkey Run after Thanksgiving, but I didn't know about this "Fiero Show" until recently. Once this Friday comes around I will be getting the registration. I'll try my best to meet up with everyone in the morning at the hotel. Can't wait to see Fiero's everywhere I look!

I sent in the info and money back in the middle of December.
In January I e-mailed Daytona asking if they received my money and on Jan 12 they said that I would receive my card in two weeks.
It finally arrived today and this is what you need to get into the track.
I missed out on being #1.
