Great advice. My pale irish a$$ burnt pretty bad at the Ford Nationals.
I can't wait!! Radiator should be in today, we'll be changing it Friday and getting it burped. We keep adding people to the trip, too. So far my group will be Tom, my Dad, his friend Greg, my girlfriend, and her son. Then we'll be meeting up with PK86 and BOH to drive up as a group. My dad is taking his fullsize Chevy truck since we'll be on the hunt for a motor and tranny.
Edit to add page pwn.

I have a question about registration. I didn't pre register with either Carlisle or MAFOA. What would it cost me at the Carlisle gate and at the MAFOA registration table?
Going through MAFOA gives you a $7 discount. you can regiser through carlisle but your gota wait in line to do it.

You can tell tom hes still driving the tommys special 2 seater up.
Lol dont you try to catch me on that..... the 87's serpentiene belt is doing fine. i drove it to work today.
You guys arnt beating me out of the Custom Fastback place that easy.
I was actually just asking if it fixed the problem, and wasn't something more serious. I know i don't stand a chance in modified fastback as my car is relatively average in most if not all regards.

not sure about the registration at the mafoa tent or if there even is one. you might want to pm amflyer on that one.
i can tell you that the mafoa pre-registration closed roughly 5/22/2010.
if you registered though carlisle events before june 1, 2010, the fee would have been $30.00 as amflyer has stated in the events section. however, since it is after june 1st, the registration cost should be $40.00, also as state by amflyer in the events section.
i hope this helps. i don't know if you ever got a complete answer on that one.

i look forward to seeing everyone on saturday. do me a favor, if i've talked to you on here before (even if i haven't), but don't talk to you at the shows, let me know. give me "h-e-double hockey sticks" for it. i'm not good with connecting the forum names to the real people that own them. i like people. lol.

Latest Weather Report for Carlisle on Saturday shows Sunny and HOT- a high of 95*F !!!! Its advisable to bring lots of cold drinks to rehydrate so be sure to stock those coolers before you leave home. FYI, beer (cans only) IS allowed on the Carlisle fairgrounds. Soda is available at the food court but its $2.75 a hit so I bring my own. The drive out tomorrow should also be very pleasant.

Thanks for the heads up on the beverages, Dennis. I'm really looking forward to finally getting a look at your car!
Yes we've traveled in thr same circles and I don't believe that I've seen your machine as well. Look for my Fiero in the modified section and say hello. If its like last year we only had one or two 3800 swaps on display so it shouldn't be hard to find.. You have far more cash invested in your swap than I do but mine is respectable; more go than show and enough power to snap your neck! The tire dealers love me! Getting back to the event; its going to feel just like Africa on Saturday. Don't have an EZ up but I will bring my favorite spray bottle mister with fan. Those things can really cool you down when it most needed. In summation the survival package should include: Cooler/drinks, EZ up (or beach umbrella), folding chair, Misting fans, Sunblock,& Sunglasses.
