Yes, Thanks a bunch to the Szparas and the Hughes for putting together the best WF that I have attended thus far! Solvang is a beautiful location to begin with, but having the show where the public could participate made it even better. We got a lot of interest and some very positive remarks from the crowd aimed at our cars. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of those folks with Fieros at the next show.
Well i will put this out again. If you guys plan to have this in the central coast again. I will offer up my services and be a judge and.... provide the show with a navigational rally on friday or saturday to try and make this a more than a drive in show and drive out. I think there will be more people interested in this as well.
Anyone who didn't get a chance to attend the show or is wanting one of our fantastic Solvang Fiero Westfest t-shirts or Dash plaques please let me know. We are out of the 2XL's but still have XL, L, M, and S sizes available. The t-shirt is $15.00 and the dash plaque is $3.00. If I need to ship it then let me know your address and I can figure out the postage and let you know how much to send.

Yours was the last 2XL that I saved of the bunch. Had to make sure I had your shirt since it was the first one paid for! Will bring it to the meeting for you! Have your dash plaque put aside too!

Mary, My kids would like their own t-shirts. Would you bring one small and one medium to the next GGF meeting please?
Thanks, Marty

Thanks for a fun day everyone. I've never seen so many fieros in one place before. I wish i got up sooner than 12 though. Either way, it was great. I'm suprise my black notchie actually got in a picture! The body isn't exactly show quality anymore since the jeep and doge ram had their way with my front end and fender....
Heres a few more taken by me:

That looks great!! You guys will have that technique down mastered by the time the Coast Run comes around and make us some to sample!! Sure it'll be alot better than the pastries that they serve there!!

Working on the website now. The dates are October 24-26, 2008 with the actual run being on Saturday the 25th. Actually set the dates in November of last year. Host hotel will be the same. Courtesy Inn of San Simeon. Room rate for the weekend will be $99/room as last year. We're working on some different things for the actual run this year. Planning lunch at the Big Sur River Inn but have to confirm it with them. The catered Saturday night dinner will be prepared by the same people as last year. Everyone seemed very pleased with the price, taste, and amount of food. The quest for raffle prizes has already begun. And we will be an official Cruisin' with St Jude event again this year. And instead of a Halloween costume party this year we are working on the idea of a theme party. Suggestions are welcomed.
More details as I get the website completed. Thanks for asking.
Sorry. Didn't mean to appear to be trying to take over your thread. Just answering a question.
Nope, not a problem at all! We all love the Coast Run, and folks at Westfest were asking about it. Westfest is over, so it's a natural transition to the next big event.
