That looks like Keith Huff's other car. Here are some pictures I took of it during the last BBQ in Tehachapi.

You can do that, you know! This show isn't just about showing a car and competing for a trophy. It's about seeing old friends, making new ones, sitting around and talking cars, visiting interesting places (like Solvang)...there's a lot more to Westfest than just a trophy.

Indeed so, Unfortunately its a bad month for me and funds are slim (currently) With gas prices and the dissapointment of not participating in such a cool thing (my first time) I opted to pass on this one. I kind of regret it now, but then again It may have been wise choice "for now".
Keep those pics coming!!

Did anybody take 2nd in modified or was Rick the only one there in a modified class car?
We were the only one. Where was your car?? We thought there might be 4 or 5 modified cars but I guess nobody got them done in time. We need some company in modified! Come on people, get those projects done!
Jen, Me and my dad were not able to make it for the second time. The 3800SC swap is still not finished but we have almost got it in and started. We really wanted to attend westfest this year with my yellow GT. We are really pushing to make the coast run this year so hopefully we can see you and rick. Congratulations on the 1st place modifed win. Rick and you definitely deserve the win with everything he has done with the car.
I'm sure your yellow car will be extra nice with that engine swap, probabley kick our butt in the modified class. You and your dad do good work, can't wait to see it at the Coast Run, you got 4 months!
Neil and Chris, we expect to see you at the Coast Run too!

Hey, Jess. I didn't have a chance to say goodbye to you folks. I assume you all made it home OK. Thanks for coming to the show, and for yours and Roy's "donation" (according to Mary). It helped.
Speaking of, someone mentioned that there was only one car in Modified. That is true. Normally, we have anywhere from 3-6 cars in that class. Attendance was off all around. We had 24 cars registered, down from the low to mid 30s that we normally get. People in attendance was off slightly from the average - normally we have numbers in the 60s, had 72 in Monterey last year, got 53 for Saturday dinner this year. It was touch and go for a while how things would come out, money-wise. I was really worried. The good news is that the show appears to have broken even, pretty much ensuring there will be a show next year.
Thanks to everyone who came, especially when facing $4.50/gallon for gas.
