Hey Fieromaineac, please post some more pictures of your Corson on this thread. It is the nicest one I have seen. Forget the spyder, your coupe is the one for me.

Glass is fixed, simply a frame stuck to the window with very thin double sided tape.

MY MERA FOR SALE:
I am telling you my friends first that my Mera #8002 is up for sale. My health has taken a turn for the worse and I am on oxygen 24/7.
There is not much room in the Mera for me and the tanks, so she goes. I will run more details in the general listing later. But here are the high points:
52,000 miles 5spd, 88' GT, Red & Tan, excellent condition, will be starting at $12,500.00.

Tom, good to hear from you!

If you remember I tried to buy this car about 4 years ago! Well, good luck with the sale, it's a beauty and well worth the price--even with the $1k to get it to the Mainland. To be honest, I always thought of your car as my insurance policy ;-)

This is my car's sister car given that #8045 is trashed.

Hello - I just wanted to introduce myself - I purchased MERA #8005 (as confirmed by Rodney) in April of this year. Purchased from a lady in California and had it shipped to me in Colorado. I have really enjoyed the car and this forum. Have made several purchases from member's - Replaced the tailpipes with a set from Rodney, and have upgraded to the 13" brake set from Fieroguru. As for the car it is Red, with gray interior, has the T-tops, is automatic and had only 39,700 miles when i purchased it. It appears to be in great shape with no rust and runs well. Just wanted to say Hello, and hopefully i can contribute to this forum as much as I have already gotten from it.

t4frun, welcome to the Mera page! Please post pics when you get a chance. Mera with a T-top, nice snag!

Hey Dano! That's some cornfields. I thought the drought had pretty much wiped out a lot of corn crops. At least that's the news we get here.

Edit:

Hey Richard! Overlooked your post above. We're in a little lull at work, so have more time to surf here. You're right, with the demise of 8045, our cars are related! Still trying to piece together the history of the custom interior. Somehow, the three cars are all related. They were either done right there in Capac, or possibly in S. CA. LOL...don't think they would have been done in Tiajuna, although I had several VW "Bugs" done there when I was living in LA.

Welcome to our small group of of outcasts. The only other t-top Mera I have seen is a yellow 87 5-spreed a guy in California was selling. I drive 8011 a red 5-speed with sunroof. Can't wait for pics with the tops off.

Rick,

I have an 87 (black) and an 88 (red) with t-tops and thought that I had posted pictures of them. If you want some photos sent to you let me know.

Gents,

In all these pages, I don't think anyone has posted pics of what the Corporate Concepts facility looks like today. Thanks to Google, here it is. Quality is not that good, I had to print and rescan. It's better if you Google and check it out yourself. The address is 15041 Downey Road, Capac, MI 48014

Kinda cool to add these "birthplace" photos to my Mera notebook.

And...I THINK this may be the place where my Mera and a few others had the custom leather interior installed. Shrader's Upholstery, only upholstery shop that is in close proximity to the Corporate Concepts factory, just down the road. I figure that CC would not want to drive/transport the Mera's a long distance to have it done, so I'm taking a WAG that this may be the place.

They are apparently still in business, but they don't have a web site. I plan to write them a letter. Don't even know if they were in business back then, so we'll see.
Tom

Hi Guys,

Well, it looks like the Mera maybe going to a new home. A fellow saw it here and has an 88GT, but needs a Mera to round out his collection.
If this goes through she will be on her way to Oklahoma. Will keep you informed.

Looks like a done deal deal, I am picking him & his son at the airport at 6pm tonight. Had the money done as a wire transfer into my account, safer for everyone.
She will be headed to Norman OK, and I am suggesting he stay in touch with this forum (so shes not really "lost).

I will pop in every so often too, after all, good friends are hard to find.

All my best

Wayne, congrats on the sale! Take care of yourself!

Well, as they say, it's not where you end up that important, its the journey and the people you meet along the way that counts. Looks like Mera #8044 is headed off to the beautiful island of Kauai. Deal should go down next week Friday. Thankfully a Fiero enthusiast will be purchasing it.
