96 CBR 600 11.4 quarter mile Im going to paint it like this.. Ill go bright white for a base then i will brush in the designs with black freehand* Then i will go over it all with a kandy green and squish plastic into the paint to get a crinkled effect From there i will work in a few highlights with the white again then shoot a ton of clear over it. Should not be to hard to make the designs, just time consuming with all the prep work needed.

Monkeyman mumbles to himself..."have to add these guys to my I-hate-you list"
Monkeyman justifies his I-hate-you list by thinking that a 600cc bike is too small for his 300# body, it's hard to find parts for a rotary bike and a Gold Wing...um, it's...well, it's...um, it's only an 1800
I miss mine, it got broked by a Honda. Since it's looking like the new job won't buy me a new car AND insurance for it, I think I'll get another bike instead, I've been wanting one for a while.
Those pipes remind me of chromed school bus exhaust pipes lol those are huge! Ive seen one in person. Have you buried the needle yet ?
Heh! Funny. The turndowns are aftermarket to keep crud off the camper. No, never buried the needle...although it gets to 100 pretty quick w/ 2 passangers, the cd player running, and the heated seats on high. (coffee maker has to be off though)
My Suzuki Intruder 800 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I was storing it for the winter, and decided to keep it rather than give it back. Would take a Harley if I had a choice, but that would cut into my Fiero money too much.
I don't have a picture to post but maybe soon I'll have a bike and that will change. BTW, nice 250KLR, didn't know they made one that small.
JazzMan
For a 250 it weighs a TON. I found out the hard way that it should not be ridden (jumped) like a true dirt bike. I have to replace both front fork seals.
Nice bikes! They are addictive to me kind of like the Fiero is. There is just an endless amount of modifications i want to do to make the vehicle an extension of my self
Lots of good bikes in here! Here are my current two bikes...
2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200S - finally just got the GIVI V46 top case!
1995 Honda CBR 600 F3 - former race bike, current project & annoyer of my neighborhood!
I've also still got my 1975 Suzuki GT185... but it's been in storage for awhile - although I've been thinking of getting it back out and cleaned up as a daily commuter!
I love the way this thing sounds when you get on it, it sounds like an indy car.
I know the guy that owns D&D, he makes some great pipes. He even made an exhaust for his Isuzu NPR that makes that little 4 cyl diesel sound pretty mean
just curious. what sort of gas mileage do these bikes get? i realize that mpg is not always the primary goal, and sometimes we like to mash on the gas a lot. my '75 h1 got about 50mpg, and about 1000gpg (grins per gallon)
