Unfortunately to modify the Tach to read anything extra I have to remove and replace processor, which contains the software. Also I have to add the displays and other parts to make it work. So it takes some time and $$.

Just thought I would let you know that I told you wrong about the air/fuel gauge. I could add the air/fuel in place of the voltmeter in the aux pod, but not in addition to it. Tom

Would really be cool if you could incorporate a boost gauge in the tach area and an air / fuel ratio in the auxilary pod between the voltage and oil gauge.

How much more would that cost?

Tom,
Great work. This is a very impressive set of gauges and is at a great price. I will be ordering a GT set but not for a while. I will save this thread and look you up when ready!

Dave,
Yes they are plug and play except for a few wires to connect and a hole to drill. They go right in place of the existing gauges with cutting up the dash. It only takes 3-4 hours to install them. I spent a lot of time in their design to make them install as easy as possible. The total price for the gt version would be $595.00 + $13.00 shipping vis USPS 2-3 day. If you want an additional gauge below the tach it is $49.00 + sensor. If you want the extra tinted panel for complete black out look when off then add $35.00. Thanks, Tom

Great looking conversion. Now I'm torn on a Firebird dash or this... Has anyone seen a more modern dash that these might fit in? That would give me the best of both worlds...

If I use the stock GT dash and have a 3800SC conversion, how much to get BOOST on the center console?

Business up front, party in the back...

Thanks for your comments! To add the boost gauge it would be $49.00 + boost sensor. Normally the boost gauges would be below the tach,
but it could be in the gauges over the center console. To do this I cam move the oil pressure gauge from the center gauge to below the Tach.
Thanks, Tom

I like to have them, but your tach doesn't go beyond 7K and that is a problem for me, since I'll need a 8500 rpm tach. Could something be done about this?

Thanks,

JG,
Actually the digital portion of the tach goes to 9900RPM and the Bargraph around the digits go to 5000,6000, or 7000 RPM per a jumper setting. I can however change the three points for the bar graph to anything you want. For example 7000,8000,9000 or ?. Thanks, Tom

Would it be possible to have a HUD (heads up display) either attached, or even in conjunction with analog gauges? I'd like it to show the vitals, so speed, RPM, and maybe coolant, or oil pressure..

Sorry I can't do the heads up display. I only have the digital gauges that fit in place of the existing gauges.

Just installed my gauges - love them! I do have one question, since there are many gurus lurking - my water temp has never worked - with the new gauges it reads 255 degrees with the 'water' blinking - sensor has been replaced - please get me started - thanks.

Glad you like the gauges! The only thing I can figure is that you must have a problem with the wiring between the gauge and the sensor.

If the pm was to me, I have not received it yet..........

I do hope everyone understands that the problem I'm having is in no way related to the awesome digital gauges........ :-)

I should most likely start my own thread though........

I bought the darkest window tint I could find and put it on the back of the original lense. I then installed the original face.

Thats one way of doing it. You can also double up the tinted plexiglass panels and/or paint the circuit board on the gauges flat black (except for the displays obviously). The paint will not affect the operation of the gauges.

I removed my stock sending units and removed the wires when I did my V8 install.
My fuel, tach and speedo are still stock but oil, temp and volt are after market.

I like the look of your gages and at some point would like to talk to you about them. I still have the stock sensors and could replace the after market senders with them.

Can your gages be ran without the computer? Mine is just a large connector right now and at some point I want to remove it and move all of the wires out of the center of the fire wall away from the header.

Yes you can run the gauges without the computer as it isn't used for any of the gauge functions. I have been running my digital gauges for years in my V8 Fiero without the computer.
Thanks, Tom

What would the price be for a GT package hooked to stock sensors?
Can you make me a glass for the gages without the cutout for the OD?

Looking at the end of August if I can make it happen.

The price would be $599.00 for the standard gt gauge package + shipping.
As for the panel without the OD cutout, I can get that made for you the next time I place an order for more of them.
Thanks, Tom
