Update... I have moved the whole shebang into the garage dang that wasnt light, I got my wiring harness hooked up but still need questions answered (Phonedawgz)??? I got my Crane Cams 8.5 mm spark plug wire, its the lowest resistance wire available and its cut it yourself. I replaced my front wheel bearings and put my Grand Am swap on. I have grand am rotors drilled, and the nice calipers done. I repeat the front end is done! I also am having my machinest make block off plates for the egr and that ugly vacuum thing on top of the blower. He's also going to flatten the stock auto shifter so that works, and hes starting to drill my motor mounts from fiero X. Here's pics of the brake swap and rims... (Im redoing the front suspension in the winter, the rear is super nice tho) Comments?
Still need to know about the compression fittings used on the gas lines? And I got a modified coolant fill, now what? Heater hoses? Sorry just really unclear on those things thanks
Want some advice on exhaust... Could someone send me a vid of the common exhaust set up meaning the big square muffler 1 in 2 out? And does anybody have a vid of using just 2 tubular inline mufflers? No cat would be preferable, since I wouldnt run one, and I do want it louder. Lets see what you got!
For the sub box there is plenty of room in the passenger footwell with the seat back, so I just measured the area and will use probably 3/4 inch MDF wood and maybe practice some fiber glass. The port will be forward facing near the door on the right side, I will keep you updated. The Q's are what I posted earlier in my thread I still need answers to those. Thanks.

I suppose its time to talk about the look im going for with "Lola"... I'm really trying for it to be like a factory Prototype fiero let me explain... First off I'm rebadging the car as a Fiero SS since there was never a SS fiero but there could have been right? So I like to think if there was ever a fiero SS this is how they would do it... The 3800 engine was around at the time, they could have always put 18's on it, They could have always added a bigger badder roof scoop, They could have had a special black interior, They could always have lowerd the car, they could have always modded the tailights for a different look, they could have always painted it Velocity Yellow (Corvette Z06 Yellow) and so on... So my nickname for her is Lola, but it will be officially a Fiero SS.
In the GM world:
Chevy Super Sport (SS) Rally Sport (RS)
Buick Grand Sport (GS)
Oldsmobile 442 & Hurst
Pontiac Formula Grand Tourer/Touring/Turismo (GT) Gran Turismo Omologato (GTO) Grand Tourer Prototype (GTP) ??? (GXP) Hold the mustard Xtra ketchup? Trans-Am (TA)
I admit I am Cadillac illiterate so I have very little knowledge of them I believe I got those right - I'm sure there are smarter guys on here than I that know a lot more car history but...
I don't recall SS being on a Pontiac

Alright just measured and drew up something quick, The box will be 12" tall in the front with a 5" flat before going on a slope where its 8" tall in the rear. The box will be 12" deep then angle to be 8" deep. The end will be 10" wide then angle to a 20' wide front. Here's some diagrams to explain and it will be my first fiberglass project... And here's my sub...

A big thanks to hercimer01, I finnaly understand the cooling system. I'm using the stock alt braket and a modified T-Stat, so the drivers side coolant tube connects to the modified T-stat, and a heater hose does too. The passenger coolant tube goes to the water pump inlet, and the other heater hose get T'd into that. Then I will just loop together both heater hoses comming out of the 3800's atl braket just because it's easier then blocking off.
Sorta update... I'm still waiting on parts from my machinist, I had him make block off plates for my EGR, a block off plate for that ugly vacuum thing on the blower, cut off extra metal on fiero x engine mount to line it up properly before I mark holes to drill, and I also had him drill out the center of my window control plate for my push button start button. I see light at the end of the tunnel!!!

OK Now I am understanding. Just something to throw at ya... Have you considered Bandpass? Since your talking about porting and it being in the footwell (you dont want a passenger to kick the sub), why not do a bandpass box with a slotted port on 1 end. For example take the design you have but modify it some. Do something similar to this. Click Here
That is a cool Idea but I'm not sure the sub will fit in there, and building a good band pass is a little advanced for me. Thanks for the idea though, I will be fitting a subwoofer grill too.
Little update, I changed around my box design to add more bracing and for it to sit back farther. I also got my block off plates back from my machinest! I will take pics later but heres the sub box v2... Im going to pick up some fiberglass cloth soon...
Update! I got my 10 inch ring for my subwoofer and finished the structure for the box! I just got to wrap it and glass it up. Im picking up my mounts today I had my machinst drill them out for me, then picking up the hardware, and need to get my starter bolts, and well Im there I think I will get the ford door stikers . So here's pics.... My box structure finished.... My block off plates.... And Ive been thinking about what to call her and I think GTX works better since SS is a chevy thing, Here's my new badge Im getting, Whatcha think?... Hopefully will do a test fit with the engine, I will report back
Update! Today I bolted up the cradle, and removed the hoist it was sitting on, I also bolted up my starter and finished my fuel lines, compression fittings are so cool! I mounted my coil pack on the side of the strut tower, and last but not least completed all the electrical work! It was so good to see those dome lights light up, and I also installed the ford door strikers they work beautifully.
Well I was thinking my battery was dead, but I just never new what gear the Trans was in duh! So I found park and the engine cranks!!! I'm so happy because the wiring was pretty complicated for me amoung other things, she woulda started but I have to finish cutting my spark plug wires! Yay haha
I just noticed my Radio and my radar detector are not working, radar detector is plugged into the aux port in fuse block. Any ideas? I will check fuses tomorrow.
