Well, so far it might be just us Terry. If Revin doesn`t chime in, in a bit I`m going to give him a call. He might have gone out of town, as others may be going too. Mike

I might make it tomorrow, but I`m definately going Sunday. I`m going over to Kevin`s tomorrow mid morning so I`m not sure if I`ll make it back over to Cedar Park. Mike
The Tejas Miatas had a great turnout for the July 4th parade in Round Rock, Tx - 19 cars. We did the parade, thousands of people /tons of kiddos... every one cheering . I brought up the rear of the line in my little red Miata... patriotic music blaring, huge flag waving, candies flying... and the bubble machine pumping out a street full of bubbles (that's why they always give me the rear position)
Afterwards we followed the leader down to Mighty Fine Burgers and all ate and had a nice social.
I sure wish I could have taken the Fiero though .... people would have absolutely loved us.... maybe next year we can have more interest in it ??? (keeping my fingers crossed) - it's a perfect time to show off our rides to thousands of people. But It's hard to be a club of one in a parade...
Anyway... Happy Independance day to all you Bat City Fiero'ers and all the rest of ya'll out there too.
not everyone went and ate lunch, but here we are parked outside Mighty Fine Burgers...

Hey everyone here's a link to the entire video of the Round Rock Parade. (apparently it is being replayed on local access TV several times - and it was on the main news stations that night.) good 'ol small town fun..
sarcastic 76 trombones music being played... The announcer makes some great comments about us. "60,000 Miatas"... "Hey what kind of car is that one right down there...hey... it's a Miataaaa!" "Here comes a Miata..." "Hey Scott, what kind of car is that white one?... Hey, It's a Miataaaa!!!!
could you imagine the remarks they'd make about a butt-load of Fieros??? I can hear now.... "I didn't know there were that many of those still running" "Hey Scott, what kind of car is that one?... hell if I know... but sure looks cool"
(Yes, i'm going to keep nagging on you guys until we get some cars in this parade...if it takes years...hopefully next year)
and if you have a fiero that isn't running... that's even better... decorate it, put it on a trailor and pull it behind a truck (you can borrow my beater truck).
now that would be funny!

thanks Kevin... wow... I had a bunch of PMs that I didn't know were there!!! sorry to all the people for not answering them... I wasn't ignoring ya'll - just to stupid to know they were there.
I'll answer them (the one's that are still relevant) later this evening (I'm at work right now and don't have time to)
Kevin, so you don't think my radiator is stock? not sure if that is a good thing or bad, since it doesn't seem to be doing the job... hmmm...
the filler neck looks a little easier to get to than a stock one. Kinda like it has a longer neck on it. check out the thread i sent ya tonight about the champion. come by and I will show ya

Well you didn't offer the use of your truck and trailer!!! I would have loved to do it if my car was running and I hadn't made plans to go out of town. Terry I sent you an email or two this afternoon. Give me a call tomorrow if you get a chance. Ben
Nice job on getting a new club started. Looked like a great turn out and a lot of fun. I saw the announcement for the meeting the week before it was taking place. I was on vacation and was currently in LA. I was stoked because I knew my family and I were going to Austin sometime that next week, and hoped we could drop in at the meeting. Unfortunately we got there the day after the meeting Austin is awsome though. We went to the Bob Bullock Museum and visited the University of Texas. (My dream school) Hey, if I get accepted there next year and find some money to pay, then there'll be another Fiero in the club! Anyway congrats and good luck.
If anyone ever wants to come to a meeting/cruise then the best way is to PM/email me or one of us and you will get filled in on the location and times!

Hey members, I am going to try to start getting out to some of these hangout nights around town. Maybe recruit some new members, even though I see very few Fieros in Austin. Join in if you can. I can`t make it this weekend, but after this I`m pretty free the next couple of weekends. Mike

the one at cabalas looked like it had a lot of cars... all the listings on that site are fairly old... are we sure they are all still actively going on?

I will have to check out the two here in Cedar Park. I know a while back Kevin went to one of them, but that`s a good point they may not be around. I would almost guess that the one in Round Rock may still be going on. I know the Cars and Coffee in Leander still happens the first Sunday of every month.

I just checked out a thread on a Camaro forum and as of a month ago there was still a car meet in Cedar Park at least the one that is East of 183A on 1431 behind Carl Jr`s. Mike
