Just got home at 5:30 am from the long drive back. Multiple stops on the way back for a little wake up walks and drinks.
On the drive down with Blake and Stephen the 87GT developed a little hicup that got worse as we pulled up to Revin's house. I think the car could feel the power that was lurking behind the garage door and it stalled out in shame. When Jarrod and I left after a "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" Meal, I figured out that the car had sucked down over a half tank of gas really fast. While filling it up I notice the MAP had lost it's vacuum line. Once that was fixed the car ran fine until the cruise when the stumble came back. At the show yes I installed a set of dews, tried out a Rodney Dickman tool, but figured out my way would be much faster for me plus the screws were slightly seized. My neck has been on FIRE ever since. Only sold one set of dews which was a little dissapointing, but I think I felt the Roundup was going to be like a Wheatstock or 25th. I had a blast and definitely look forward to the next.
Stopped by the Sonic..and was told to "control our ride" from local po-po
Couple of the groups "Hotties"
Well that is all. It was too hot to take anymore pics What a great time I had seeing everyone that showed up! the cruise went well ! Steven didn't even break down this time! The thing I learned was...I need to add ac to my car Don WAS supose to make an appearance, but no show.
EVERYONE make the Ruckus OCT. 13th .......Galveston,TX Should be a blast!! please try to make it..

I was a bit too distracted to notice you had dews for sale.
Here are the cars:
It was a smaller than usual turnout...but as usual I had a good time, and the setting was good. I hope everybody can make it to the Ruckus in the fall.

They're still sawing and hauling. Supposed to be done tomorrow-but who knows. Heck, I can't get out of town even long enough to drive to Gatesville to pick up my other Indy. I am glad to hear you all had a good time, all made it back home safely, and I do fully intend to make it to Ruckus, but since it is at Galveston--I will not say "Come hell or high water".

I am with Revin on the A/C--This will be tha last time that I go to a show without having A/C. I guess my body is getting to old to be able to handle the heat of the long trips. The inside temp of my car on the trip home yesterday was 111*-121* and body temp was around 94*. Going to put the A/C back in the car this weeks and get it going.
Besides the heat the show was good, nice to see everyone and cant wait for the Ruckus. My car ran great and had no problems even in the stop/go traffic on the way home.

Yea, that`s it, I just couldn`t remember which side of Waco it is on. Everytime I get up that way I forget to stop and look but I see them when I drive by. There are also a few places North and South of Waco with some nice classic cars in all kinds of conditions. Mike
Hey steven, make me some hoses for a/c as well I do have two old fiero a/c hoses if you need them for the hose conversion... Then again, I would need the whole compressor, accumaltor, etc. to get her working again...

RoundUp motel accommodations at the newly remodeled All rooms had air conditioning exception for the group with Revin...guess the A/C just could not keep up with all the hot air!
Starting and ending with margaritis at the Taco Cabana next to the Red Roof Inn.
Show & Shine - a few of the cars.
Blake's cool looking calipers with 12" roters.
Nice brakes but Blake still cannot seem to keep the inspection current.
It was another hot Texas day even under the shade of the tent.
Cruise was mapped out by Mike Desbrow . . . Check out the slow down to 60 MPH because of turn sign!
Kevin was busy taking pictures of everyone by driving up next to them at ?? MPH. Did he ever get a side pic of Stephen? Does that mean Stephen's car is faster than Kevin's?
While at Sonic we saw some interesting sights. Mike Parker was impartial the the Church's Chicken Car.

We all know the answer to that question--This was proven at the Waco show about a year ago!!!!
What was that comment Kevin made over the 2 ways Blake?
Just got back from Houston yesterday afternoon. Glad everyone that attended had a good time. Hopefully, next year the call....no....make that the Order of the road will not keep me from making the Sunday morning gathering. Thanks to all that took up the slack and made sure this years event came off as a success. Mike, Mike, Scott and all the others that I might be forgetting.
John F, will be mailing your shirt to your shortly.
Really, Really suprised that the shirts were as big a hit as everyone made them out to be. I Really did just throw the design together. Glad you all liked them!
Next year we will be making every attempt to move the event back to March or April to take advantage of the cooler weather, so stay tuned for all that.
Guess that is all for this year, and will look forward to seeing everyone in October!

Huh Rob... Why did the numbers change from roman to regular.... that is all I could think of as a disapointment about the shirts.....( I like the reg. # better )
Looks like yall had a great time, I tried to convince Daniel to go down there with me Sat. afternoon but neither of us could swing gas money (he just lost his job)
Anyway, Jed and I will be at the Ruckus no matter what! I called and told him to take the days off now. It would be great if the Round-Up were back in the spring, for temps and to spread out travel costs a bit.

Is it just my imagination... or does this look like you were trying hard to read the words on the plaque... and then just gave up to look at the pretty picture?
Oh,
and as for the conversation on the FSR... I think it went something like this:
revin: HOLY S*#! He passed me like I was standing still!!! blake: y'all ran? revin: I didn't stand a chance!! revin: TWICE!! blake: Was that JScott that we just saw pulled over?
(note, my memory is not good, and names were not changed to protect the innocent)
revin: HOLY S*#! He passed me like I was standing still!! I should have gotten on it ! blake: y'all ran? revin: I didn't get a chance to stomp it to the floor!! dam clutch! revin: COPS! Too bad I was gonna hand Steven his a$$ blake: Was that JScott that we just saw pulled over? Revin: Yeah That is why I let off. Gut feeling
yeah that is what I said....

Just wanted to thank Ken & Heidi again for the card they circulated for Jazzman. I gave it to him last night, along with some monies that PFF had raised for him.
He seemed very touched... and had a smile for revin who drew his car off the side of the road.
I wanted to thank everyone at the Roundup for what you did for me, that was wonderful and means a lot to me. I wish I could have made it, maybe next year I'll be able to.
