Got some bad news guys... my dang left knee has decided to lock up. I am going to the doctor next week to schedule surgery... which will probably be in May... the recovery/rehab period might carry into June. It just depends on when he can operate. I will keep you advised, but I am going to hold off on registering/commiting for now.

Oh yeah, I guess I did. The t-top should be back on the road by the end of the day. Turned out all it needed was a new select cable. The transmission is fine.
Been a little quiet ot there. Everyone making your travel plans to Old San Antonio? Remember to bring your radios and some sun tan lotion! Hope you are feeling better Blake, you and Jennifer would/will be missed.
Peace..Out,
Mike

JScott, I never stay there as it is a local event for me. If it is realy bad I can see if Robert wants to look for a newer place to stay. I know he works hard to get a good rate for the out of towners.
I know he would appreciate any input from the group on changing hotels for future Round-Ups. You are not obligated any any way to stay there if you want to make other arangements. I will make him aware of this immediately and maybe it is something we can discuss at this Round-Up.
EVERYONE please feel free to voice your thoughts, they are appreciated.

I wouldn't say it was really bad, just that when you only see it once a year it was getting noticeably ratty around the edges. Probably okay for most and the rate is pretty good.
I'm not really picky about those kind of things just throwing the question out there.

Jon... for shame!... It ain't about the quality of the place... it is about the proximity to a Taco Cabana! You've been to enough of these to know that!
BTW, doc thinks I might be good enough to make a post surgery trip... it will still be a last minute judgment call though.

Considering the price and proximity to the places we want to be, Red Roof is just fine with me. Yes, Jonathon is correct. It has gone down hill a bit over the last 5 or 6 years I've been there but, hey - so have I, hehehehehe!
That is why it is near the taco cabana....we get too drunk to care what it looks like in the rooms. My vision is so blured when I lay my head down, who cares! then in the morn...hangover...yet the cool water comes out of the tap to refresh me.
Then again...it is NOT the freezer box like cayon lake THAT is bad....
I dont think I will be back in the country for Round-up. Do you have a deployed personnel category. I would like a couple of shirts though. A Large for me and prolly a Medium for Edith.
Let me know Justin

Keep your head down and your powder dry. Get back safe and sound!
I will have to hope everyone keeps the Round -Up XI on top. I have to be without a computer until Sunday. A little carpet going down and we have to un-hook the electronics in those rooms.

It is a definite "no" on me being there this year. Mike will be at Tarleton doing the whole band thing, and I will be enjoying my third weekend off of the year.
