Yes - it is sold. (thus the reason for the new signature) Yes - it went to a forum member.
The buyer may not be able to pick it up before a local car show here in Gatesville on June 7, so I may have one more opportunity (not sure if I really want to) to show the Indy.
If anyone else wants to come show their Fiero, please do...but this would be a number of events one right after the other....so I don't figure anyone will want to come due to fuel cost. This is the second year for this particuular show, so I will see how "good" it is and maybe we can get a large showing of our cars next year.

Thanks everyone for keeping the thread going. Computer back up and all is well. T-Shirt art is in for review with the printer, Robert should know something next week. Got a couple of routes for the cruse in discussion. Maybe a little shorter for gas reasons but still scenic with a dinner. More time to talk anyway. More later.
I just got this....................... DL10 is selling the GBCT....pretty cheap too! huh Jon...want it now???
Welcome to 2005! Dave and I talked about this years ago...but I'm in too deep into my own blue chop top now. What's the point to having two of them? (unless your name is Madcurl)
How about you buy it and bring it back to Texas!
(I think it's lonely)

I think it needs an Indy to keep it company. Is it on eBay?
I don't know about eBay, but DL10 has been wanting to sell it for a while to finance an LSx motor for his Predator car. For what he was wanting to sell it, I could have bought two of them instead of modifying my own car.
Remember..."It's always cheaper to buy someone else's abandoned project"
Don - PM sent.

What?!?!?! I could barely fit in it, then, NOW?? yeah right. It would just sit in the museum with the gray one, only going to shows and that V8 losing races to 6 cyl's with sewing machines on them
Yeah I better hold off getting it now. Besides Looks like Don is looking to take it for Jane to go fast like me! HI JANE!!

Looks like our "Cruise Director" Mike "The Desi" Desbrow has the route scouted and set up for some BBQ, San Antonio Style. Their cream corn is great. BBQ is very good as well and the cobler, cobler, cobler.
See you soon in Old San Antonio. John........Margarita time Friday night?
Joel, you know you will always be a AAFOer. Good to hear from you.

I wish I could make this but, I have other things going on. Please take plenty of picks and post them. I can still reflect and photoshop them into my memories of last years fun filled weekend. I guess no "po po award" for me this year. Hope everyone have a great time.

Hmmmmm, NTFC seems to not be participating very much in this event. Me, Stephen and .........?
My wife and I will be going south on Friday 13th pretty early to spend some time downtown San Antonio then over to the motel for R & R. What is the Friday night schedule?

It is sad but true but with the gas prices being so high, its going to happen. The bad thing is if gas doesnt go down then its only going to get worse and eventually events will not be held. Blake is going to try and make it but with the sugery it is still up in the air.

Gee at this rate gas will be $5 a gallon by the Ruckus and I will have to bribe people to come down form North Texas and Oklahoma.
By in my opinion gas is still the cheapest part of the weekend. I can get to San Antonio and back on little over one tank...$36... Compared to the hotel and the food still pretty inexpensive.
Financial uncertainly is forcing us to miss the Round-Up and the 25th... but we will be at the Ruckus no matter what! I've been looking for to it in Galveston since it was mentioned a couple years ago.
Edit cause Orange wanted me to say: Chris, you better get your car in racin' shape... We've avoided it this long, but that road along the beach in Galveston is straight, smooth, and copless for the last couple miles... Orange hereby challanges you to a duel!

I figure about 750 miles round trip with cruise and entertainment. My little 4 banger will get about 25 MPG on average this trip. At $4/gal that's $120.00 just for fuel! Add in hotel/food/fun and other travel related expenses (like margaritas ) and I can certainly see why costs would be a factor.
Hopefully, the Ruckus in Galveston will be attended well. It certainly will be COOLER!
Amber, Something to think about....the price of gas WILL be much higher for the ruckus in Oct. Than it will be next weekend. You two need a place to sleep? stay with Steven and me. We will turn the A/C on freeze for ya Fight for beds or floor around 11pm

The Friday Night "Meet & Greet" will be informal this year. It will be at The Taco Cabana by the Red Roof Inn from 7:30 pm till ???????. Margarita Time, watch out for Heidi, she likes to "Candid Camera"! T-Shirts will be handed out Saturday @ R-U 11. They look great, tryed to post, however Pennocks is having a server issue. Should have them out on "My Space" soon. If you want to see one send me an e-mail at fierose@gvtc.com and I will send a picture.
I regret some will not be able to attend for gas price reasons. It has had an effect on our extra income as well. I wish everyone the best and hope to see you soon, You will be missed. The AAFO trys everyway we can to keep cost down, but no one has a handle on this gas glut.
God Bless America.

I don't know how many rooms will be left if you wait.
Mike Parker
I just made my reservations and the 20 rooms had not sold out yet. Hmmm, that's not a good sign. I guess a few locals will show up, but 20+ cars would be nice.
Sorry - will not be able to make this. I am taking the family up to Wichita, KS, before the fuel gets much higher. I am also saving my $$$ for a 3200 mile road-trip with my best friend. We haven't been on one since high school and both of our wives are ready to kick us out the door

Michael is really wanting to make the Ruckus this year - so we are working on Wendy to get her to let us go - and Bryce has said she REALLY wants to see the ocean...so who knows? Maybe we will bring 2 Fieros? Wait...nope...Wendy can't drive a 5-spd, so maybe a Fiero and either a Caliber or an Expedition?
If we do make it, we will be in Michael's GT.

I will not be making it. Lisa and I need to save our money for our summe trip home to MO. I am trying to decide if it is worth the extra $$ to tow the fiero with us to go to the 25th. Have a great show everyone and post lots of pics.
Well the topend of my car is in pieces as I type but plan on getting it back together this weekend. Being I really dont do much or go anywhere thats not Fiero related, the gas issue isnt to big of a deal. Planning on the 25th but havent committed 100% yet being it still a ways out.
