Well a buddy of mine rewelded me an 02 bung in at the dyno shop yesterday, and we put the old stocker back in.
I can tell a definate difference, though i'm sure the 02 sensor is not in the best shape.
I'm also still running open loop due to temp, thermo bent to crap. Have a new delco unit, haven't installed due to 02 sensor and needs coolant flush.
I'll make a dynolicious run to see how it changes when i'm in closed loop control,
then install my LM-1 wideband into the bung and piggyback a narrowband signal to the ECM.
Then i'll make another run to read AFR's and see if there is any improvement.

I'm rebuilding a fuel rail and injectors right now from a parts car, depending on the AFR's I get I might adjust the regulator spring before installing.
I'll post up my dynolicious results when i've got them.
(and no,I didn't get on the real dyno while I was there)

*Did I finally just pwn a page?
Wo0t

125mph with left headlight door popped up.
Probably would go faster with the door down!

I really do not know - the speedo only goes to 85 - but it will go all the way back to 10 mph? That's about the time the headlight doors start poping up and the V8 is at it's upper limits. It also has a little shudder at that speed and feels a little loose in the front end. Now don't flame me for speeding, I had it out on the old airport this morning. I left my Garmin at home! I'll take it with me next weekend when I go back for some more fun. I think the 4 speed needs swap for a 5 or 6 spd. I seriously doubt I was going over 115 - maybe 120. It definitely needs another gear and some front end work and I got a right front brake that grabs a little more than the left. I really had a blast though. I had to give the live in airport manager 20.00 to let me go out on the runway. It was worth every penny and will most definitely be doing that again. The motor runs great and I need to "dial" the jetting in better - seemed rich on top but I think I will be putting some work in the bottom end before I do too many more "fun runs". I am really likeing this sbc Fiero. What a kick in the pants.

If you have a GPS, you can use it as a speedometer.
I haven't had either of my Fieros above the low 90's, but at least I know how fast I'm going in the one that has the 85 MPH speedo.

My other cars with hide aways have headlight buckets. Not knowing about the fiero's headlight doors and while looking for the car's top end, I almost soiled myself the first time one popped up. Didn't see that coming and actually tried to dodge it. Are there any other unexpected quirks that these cars have when traveling in the triple digits?

One unexpected quirk you might see are red and blue lights in your rear view mirror.
Next......a ticket.

All this talk of doing 120.

Up here in Canada, our speedos got to 185 (well mine does anyway - 88GT)

My turbo 3.2 is faster than an Acura NSX (270 BHP) but can't pull a Toyota Supra turbo (320 BHP) - about even.

All the stories about stock Fieros beating Corvettes etc. would be a lot more impressive if the Vettes had known they were racing.... :-)

Street racing is for kids (who don't mind getting arrested). Bad business. Too bad more kids don't do Solo.
