Hey, Sorry it took so long, Rob, The Prez, AAFO, got a new job a truckin. He is on the road a lot. I have had double pneumonia since late December and just returned to work April 1, no joke!
We will have more info, sign-up, Red Roof Inn info, $$$$ and T-Shirt stuff hopefully by this weekend. This will be a great event with your support. As we have said in the past, if it were not for you guys and gals this would not be a ROUND-UP, it would be just another AAFO meeting. NUMBER ELEVEN, thanks to you all, must be doing something right.
Like it was said to Jane¡K..¡¨ROAD TRIP!¡¨ Boy, you two¡¦s ears must have been a burning, Cliff Smith and I was just a trashing you last weekƒº.
As Jim Bowie said to Davey Crockett¡K¡Ksee you in San Antonio! Oh, that didn¡¦t turn out that well did it, oh what the heck, see you anyway.
I am such a bad speller; I construct my post in word and then cut and paste it. It came across weird and I didn’t catch it.
Great to hear from you Don, Cliff Smith and I were talking about how good it would be to see you and Jane again.
Hope things change for you Amber, you will be missed.
Please overlook my errors and remember the main thing is we have a great ROUND-UP XI planned in San Antonio. It will be a fun time for all that can make it.
Mike

OUCH! Amber, Tim, Jonathon, Tom and Blake! Five likely no-shows of usual attendees in the first day of posting!
Mike, is this the proper weekend? Mid-May is a short notice, I think. We outsiders have been planning for this event since last year. It has been more or less ignored until your notice here (other than Justin's attempt to keep the thread alive but with no scheduling). Would another time (a couple of weeks later) be more accepted?

Any date works for me (even the first one picked) . This is according to my wife, hehehehehe. She has had the real Russian vodka in the freezer for a month now. Kinda like in the movie, if you "have it", I will come!
Thanks for considering alternative times. I really hated that we lost five regulars in the first 24 hours of posting. Let's see what the majority of these regulars can do to make Round Up XI another spectacular event in our little world.
All the dates in June work for me except the 28th and 29th. We have a wedding in Missouri and that is the weekend of our one year anniversary. I dont think Lisa would like to go to a Fiero Show for our 1 year anniversary even though I think it would be very appropriate.

I won`t make this one. If I ever expect to get my fastback swap done I have to start taking my car apart so after the AER car show it starts happening. Ya`ll have fun. Mike

Any weekend will be OK except June 7. I plan to be in Pennsylvania at an ALL-FORD meet!!! OK, I have mixed loyalties, but I do have a Fiero or two, or three, or four, ......

Because while I`ve got it apart I`m going to be redoing the nose, removing the side skirts to install my IMSA 1/4 scoop panels, installing the vertical door hinges and getting everything ready to paint. If I can find a cheap Fiero I may buy it to drive just in case I don`t have all of what I want done by the Galveston show.
Heh, I love that wedding photo Chris! Lisa seems like a really good sport But I could easily imagine her not wanting to do a Fiero event for an anniversary... even I wouldn't be cool with that.
Jed can't take off work any time in the last two weeks of June (his boss will be out of town so he has to hold the fort down), so regardless of money I would definetely be out then. Other than that, May or early June have equal odds of working for me at this point.

Yeah, I understand the "while I have it apart" problem. I've been in that mode for 4 years. That's why I'm ready to declare my chop top finished. From a body work perspective, whatever is not on it is too bad at this point.
I may have my Indy to the point where I can drive it...have a lead on a getrag. If I can get it and learn how to swap tranys at the same time. Maybe I can convince Stephen to come down and help?

It is POSSIBLE that we may be able to make this one on the June date. I won't be able to truly commit until much closer to the date. We are in the process of launching some new stuff here at work, and I don't know if I can get away....won't even be able to make the 25th b/c of it. Hopefully we can make it and bring Mike's GT again - he had a blast at the Spring Fling (even though we had to leave early).

So bring the 4.9L a barking, we will overlook a little mange on the coat. Besides, Revin needs someone other than Steve to look up to .
Mike
All three of my Fieros have 3 independent problems... The problem with the 4.9 is that the car is still in Wisconsin. The T-top needs a new transmission and the Indy needs a new coolant tube, (at a minimum).
I'm going to try to replace the coolant tube this weekend, the chop top is due to be ready for pickup in a week or so and as soon as I learn how to drop a cradle I can get the t-top on the road.
So it's possible I can have a Fiero at the Round-up, either way I could still come driving a modern 2007 automobile.
