For me it is the lighter side, I do a lot of machine work out in my shop listening to this music. There are a great many unknown artists that make this type of music but here are some of my favorites. This music just talks to me and makes me feel calm. It also helps me think and I believe be more creative.....

Richard Burmer
Western Spaces
Born and died in Michigan
Forgotten Season

Richard Burmer
Western Spaces
Across the View
One of my favorites from this amazing artist.....

One of my favorite smooth tracks...
Vangelis
Love theme from Blade runner....
This is just an awesome track from an equally awesome movie....

Hope you like them altho from the looks of it these may be a bit too slow for most of you.....peace

Band = HERMANO
Genre = stoner/desert/groove rock
Sounds like = Singer John Garcia continues his unique vocal assault with his latest band Hermano. John was the original singer for the California stoner rock group Kyuss. The rest of Kyuss went on to become known as Queens Of The Stone Age while John drifted through a few different bands and projects before putting together Hermano. The band consists of other stoner rock alumni who together carry on the stoner rock tradition of great power riffs, and heavy grooves.......

Didn't you post these a few months back?
I was trying to remember, earlier, what I had seen and was drawing a blank until now.
Excellent! Thanks.

Stop The Bus reminds me a bit of Crazy Horse.

Yes, thank you. I posted 'Stop the Bus' in another thread awhile back, but not the other two.
It is so rare that I hear anything new that really impresses me and I havn't seen a band use a B-3 like that in more years than I can count.

Pretty sure this guy predates Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath by several years.

For the old school folks...
His drummer was Carl Palmer from ELP and keyboard player was Vincent Crane from Atomic Rooster.

Just spotted the bumps... Wondering why I never got the email updates about this thread?

Something ado about Cliff's updated subscription system, I'm assuming - I guess I need to recheck the "email notification" box on this thread, huh?

I doubt the young cats here will know who this is, and many folks my age don't know his name either. His more popular tunes were Boom Boom (Out Go the Lights) and Hooked On Music, plus maybe others that I have forgotten. I had an 8-track of him in the 70's. I give you: Pat Travers

I was looking for Killer's Instinct by Pat Travers, but it doesn't appear to be out there.
I did find something of the same vintage.

In the sixties, it took a group of British musicians to expose young Americans to a powerful form of American music.

Excellent! I love Loudon Wainwright's music.
This is probably the only one of his tunes that got any airplay, but he's done lots of stuff.
He's pretty much of a lunatic. I like that in a musician.

These guys are mostly known for the song "Jim Dandy to the Rescue", but I think they had like 10 albums on the charts in the 70's. The young 'uns here may not have heard of 'em...
