I've always heard that the dohc 3.4 v6 gives the most authentic sound. As far as bigger brakes goes, I agree to a certain extent. My Murci came with 20" wheels spacers and Fiero rotors. Didn't look right and I'm switching the Held wide suspension with 13" rotors from my AD355 to the Murci. Since I'll not be racing the AD I don't think I need big brakes. I'm looking at fake rotors and caliper covers. I know, FAKE, but I'm not going to be racing into corners, accelerating and then doing it all over again and again. I think that Fiero brakes will be fine for my driving and I won't have the down side of added unsprung weight on my suspension.
yes i did. i wasn't aware that he was a member here, or anyone here knew him at least. I only drove it one time around the block when it arrived. it's been in the garage since getting a L67 put in, along with a bunch of other loose ends tied up. He did a great job on it though, and gave me a great deal on it.

Glenn is a great guy. I know him from another forum. When I was building this 355 and the 355 before it he always answered any questions I had. Also he had a good website with the build of your car.
Are we all ready for the next phase of this build?!?!?
Well today my interior from Amida is here!!! And man does his work look awesome!!! Everything was SOO well packaged. These parts look way better then OEM!!!
I have the whole interior here but I just unpacked the center console.
I just unpacked the dash, and this thing is just BEAUTIFUL!!! The detail is amazing!!! The stitching is just perfect!!! And the dash is full functional with warning lights and working vents.
Thanks Guys!!! I have the door panels and lots of other interior parts from Amida that I have yet to open. Just the show the craftsmanship of Amida's interior,
This is the stitching on my $107,000 MSRP Mercedes Benz SL500 dash.
This is the stitching on the dash Amida made in his garage in Seattle.
going to say this once in your thread 'cause it hasn't been talked about in a while I WANT YOUR DMC!!!!!! actually any old delorean would do me good. i like those cars ALOT
By the time you're done, do you think it'll come in under the cost of a good, used, F355? Beautiful work. Simply beautiful - regardless the cost.
Thanks!
Simple answer, no. You could buy a real 355 for the cost involved in this build. But I wanted to create this car and I am proud of what I have built regardless of the expense.
