Ordered a harness from him back in the middle of November and have not heard from him since. Starting the swap next week and need the harness. Anybody know if he is ok or still doing them? I have emailed him directly and thru PFF.
He is most likely busy doing harnesses I know every now and then I get so swamped that I stop taking new orders and turn off the computer and focus on nothing but work till I am caught up again. Dan
Just paid the 200$ deposit to start the work. He did not request my lt1 harness.
Did you use pay pal to pay the deposit?? if so.. or you know his pay pal email address, they might be able to get in contact with him.. life happens,, health/etc.. jail (just throwing out there).. undercover cop,, mil. duty..
maybe those that have had a harness made, can p.m. you the return address, and/or his phone #..
If you used paypal, I'd start a claim, if nothing more it'll get him to contact you if he can.. good luck..

Was there a timeline given or agreed upon? If not it is a custom service can be very time consuming and if you weren't up next in line to have a harness you could be waiting a while.
Someone used to comment that there is no excuse for no contact. I'm surprised someone hasn't taken on making harnesses that can get them out in a reasonable time frame and remain in contact.
Well so far last week I called his business phone and left a message, no response. I have emailed his personal, business and pff with no response numerous times. I have bought a harness from him in the past and it was very quick and he always responded in a timely manner. I am finishing up an 88 coupe this week then the lt1 is next on my docket. If I can't get a response soon looks like I'll be building the harness myself and be out the $200 deposit.
I should be the last one to comment about being out of contact but there is times I get so busy I have to shut down the computer and focus just on work, mind you this is usually for a short period unless some thing is going on in my life and then sorry but my kids come first always have always will. On the other side here though I have had messages sent to me all hours of the day and night with questions and if possible I do answer them may sound strange but I have answered messages and had conversations with people even in the middle of the night as my back problems some times do not allow me to sleep which when it is bad enough I do shut down for a while. I also understand we all do not live in the same time zone. I have always stopped taking new orders at this point. Basically some might not understand till doing a job like making harnesses it is easy to fall behind in the past I had many cases where packages would just show up in the mail with instructions on how to build and a harness in the box to work with that piled up pretty fast. One time when I moved I had not even unpacked yet and had a few show up that I was not expecting. It is also hard to control the amount of work coming in cause quite often I get a final message harness on its way or being shipped tomorrow and nothing ever shows up or it shows up two months later making it difficult to keep busy with out either going with out work or being swamped. I do not know what is going on here but I try to give people the benefit of the doubt when possible not sure why he is not responding to this when he has been on the site answering others that I find not so good though. Mind you he most likely would love it if I stopped making them so he could have more or all the business where I like it that I am not the main one doing harnesses this gives me a break so I can have a life and spend time with my Girls, maybe even finally finish my own car and have a Fiero on the road for the first time in close to 5 years.
Understand your frustration. More frustrating is people defending/justifying his lack of contact and yet blast others for not responding to emails/phone calls. After resolving the harness, I've had good contact with him. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/092929.html
PayPal settled the dispute and is giving me the money back. He would not even reply to PayPal. Buyer beware with phonedawgs.
It's a shame he isn't replying since he's got a lot of skills when it comes to electrical issues. He was helping me with programming my 4.9L ECM...but then he disappeared. Fortunately Aaron (Stickpony) jumped in and helped me out. I can't really complain since he was helping me for free...but it's always nice to get at least a word saying that he's busy or whatever.
Tim has been on this forum a long time and has helped a lot of people out with harnesses and technical advise. He might be overwhelmed with work but as a good businessman he should feel obligated to respond to inquiries.
