So only people who have directly challenged the owner of the site have been banned, I hardly believe so. I contend that the rules don't seem to apply the same for everyone, if that is because others agree or give Stan the benefit of the doubt, then so be it but I don't believe the same courtesy is extended to others. You may have a different point of view?

Myself, I have only seen a couple of people get banned and it was due to complete disregard for the rules and/or personal attacks.

But if you mean what you are expressing shouldn't be offensive to anyone, then who are YOU to impose on someone else what their reaction to your expression should be? Where would you get the idea that no one should ever be offended by anything you express?

If you support the death penalty, that is your approach, too. It seems Hammurabi's code is the basis for much of our criminal justice system... not too many people losing eyes nowadays, though.

The "eye for an eye" quote, I was using it in the context of revenge. I probably shouldn't have used "eye for an eye", after your response, because it doesn't always refer to revenge and I was specifically referring to revenge.
I support the death penalty, but it has nothing to do with revenge. It has to do with fitting my personal beliefs on justice. Revenge, to me, seems pretty personally gratified in what is happening to someone. Justice, something happens to them that they DESERVE. I am often saddened by people getting what they deserve. I can handle the sadness, as it is what they deserve. But I am not personally happy or gratified by it. What happened didn't have to do with justice. Uhlanstan makes comments that insults MidEngineManiac, as he apparently is an atheist. MidEngineManiac posts a poster mocking Christianity. Uh, that is more tit for tat motivated by revenge than justice.
Not a big deal to me personally. Just throwing that out for personal reflection. I accept people as they are, and still try to enjoy them on this forum at the level that I can.

I support the practice of death row,, because if a person has no chance of ever getting out.. why house them.. why spent th money no one has.. after 15 years of the appeals, if your not off death row, sorry.. even those not on death row, but multi life sentences.. that are never getting out..
