I just found out that the people who issue the tracking numbers have tripled their prices. Each coin will now cost around $9. Sorry, I had no idea. I hope to have the final cost nailed down tomorrow.

I have updated the paid list. If there is a $ next to your screen name all you need to do is wait for your coin to arrive. I appreciate your prompt payment.
William Y, please let me know your screen name here so I can give you credit for your payment. Thanks.
To all: Please include your screen name and mailing address in the notes section of your payment. That is the information that I use to organize payment credit and shipping. Thanks.
I will update the list again no later than tomorrow evening. I may not be able to show your payment instantly but I should be able to post it within 12 hours. Please be patient. I work weird hours. Thanks

Frank S. Thanks for sending your payment but I have no idea what your screen name is. I will give you credit for paying as soon as you let me know who you are. Thanks.
Please include your screen name here at the forum in the notes section of your payment. I still don't know many of you by your real names.
CoolBlue87GT, send me your mailing address again please. My desktop crashed since the last project and I lost all of my addresses. Thanks.

Thank you all for your prompt payment. I would like to apologize for not updating the list more often. I have been working 12 hour days including weekends. If you know what I do for a living you will understand why I don't have internet at work. The list has been updated. Thanks for your patience and for checking the accuracy of your order.
This week we will finalize the list, obtain the tracking numbers from Groundspeak, pay our deposit to the manufacturer, send them our our final engraving list and order quantity. At that time I will make final payment to the manufacturer. A day or two after that they should send me a target completion date (it usually takes about three weeks). I will pass along to you the information as soon as I receive it. It will take them probably 3-5 days for the package to arrive at my house. Then it will take me about 8 hours to sort and package them and about 90 minutes at the Post Office the following day to ship them. If I happen to receive the package the first day of a work trip the shipment from me to you could be delayed as much as 6 days. Work has to come first. We are still on track for a record turnaround time.
Thanks for your patience. I appreciate you guys and the trust that you have placed in me with your money. I hope to meet or exceed your expectations each time. Let me know if you have any problems at all during any point in this process. I will make sure that you have a satisfactory outcome.
The coins are very high quality and are collectable. They are intended to be used for Geocaching as a trackable item that travels from geocache to geocach. Their progress can be tracked on-line as people log the coin's movement.
Other people who have bought previous coins have used them as badges fir their cars. Several have been permanently installed in the interiors of various member's cars. I think it would be sweet to make a belt buckle out of one of them. Lol if you are curious buy one. There is no risk. If you don't like it somebody here will buy it from you. There always seems to be someone who misses the boat during open ordering.

I would just add when he says no risk... It's low cost and if you don't like it you can get your money back from selling it to another. Only catch is don't try to turn a profit with them, per GM's orders when they gave permission to make them. That's why RACE is the only one you see getting them done. He has been given permission to do it and no one else. If GM sees them being used for profit... They END. Even RACE doesn't get paid for his time doing this. It's a kindness thing.

Just to repeat this. I don't know how many times this kind of project has been attempted and successfully executed the way this one has, but I doubt many companies the size of General Motors routinely agree to be cool about something like this very often.
As for the coins, I got three from the last run, and they were beautiful, HUGE (2" diameter at least), and heavy. Believe me when I say pictures DO NOT do them justice.
