I just primered it and got it back on the car. I will finish it after the Gbarf. It is basically going to be in primer anyway until I can change colors on my car.

that's kinda the point... an excuse to get out of town. If I (we) come, I doubt I (we) will be in a Fiero either. Just doin' it to see you guys.
We will be in the Elantra again. I don't have my silver 86 back togeather all the way yet. Its gonna need new tags and inspection before I can road it.

Well I hope SOMEBODY comes in a Fiero. This could end up being the only Fiero-less Fiero show. I was going to make a heroic effort to get my Indy roadworthy for the trip but maybe I won't bother now??

I`m planning on coming Friday on a leisurely trip down there. I will probably get there at about 4 or 5. Where is the meet and greet going to be? Jonathon, if you don`t mind PM me your cell number, in case something happens (keeping fingers crossed it doesn`t) and I have to let you know I will be late or not at all.

Jon... still not sure if I am making... I think I'd like to... but I could get so much accomplished this weekend too...
If we come we will be in the Infiniti. Funny thing, last time we did an impromptu Galveston Fiero gathering in this time frame... (2002, I think?) We were in my Maxima that had no heater. The weekend was so beautiful, we didn't even need it!
You golf? (I pretend to, I am atrocious)... Galveston has a nice municipal course that J&I played 9 holes last time on Sunday before driving home. If anyone is interested... I could be talked into chasing a white ball around for a bit.

Let's get a head count...who is in and when are you planning to show up?
Well, I learned that I have to work Friday evening, but I can come down soon as I get up Saturday morning... UNLESS I end up having to work Saturday evening also (would have to be at work at 3:00 pm).
Been off the 'puter lately, and will be on it rarely in the next few days. So anybody who needs to reach me should call my cell. Or call 713.839.9411 and ask for room 226.
Sorry guys, I'm a "no-show" for this one. Fiero goes into the shop tomorrow and I blew a tranny on my truck!
You gotta be kidding?! You are the main reason we are having this... How about you talk Blake into coming for sure and bum a ride? I'm afraid the turnout is going to be disappointingly small. by the way, Happy Holidays

Man I REALLY want to be there, I love going to Galveston.... I think it would/could be soo cool seeing 10 to 20 Fiero's cruisin' the seawall.
I'm planning some maintance/upgrades on the '84, it's OK to cruise around here and to go to club meetings but Houston is a bit out of it's range for now.. I'd love to do it sometime next year, hopefully I will be in the '88 3.8sc. Still I'd love to come but will have to pass... Dang!
I guess I could paint a Fiero on the side of my GMC Envoy... would that work? I think not!
Best wishes... Everyone have a great time..

We used to live at Lake Tawakini. My wife worked for Wal-Mart in Terrell for 4 years before we moved to Lake Livingston. All of our grand children ,(9) , live in either Houston or Galveston. We moved to be closer for dancing shows, Little League etc. It's 4 hours to Houston, and 5 to Galveston. Joe Crawford

Well, I`m out. It looks like nobody is showing up and I have a chance to make some extra money this weekend so I`m going to do that instead of spending money. Jonathon I appreciate what you have done but it looks like it was just too much for people during the holidays. Mike

I hate to say this but due to unexpectedly low turnout the G-BARF is officially cancelled.
If anyone has reservations and you still want to come on down, feel free But there will be no sanctioned events.
I guess this is just not a good time of year to have an event. The silver lining is that I got my Indy on the road and have over 100 miles on it this week.
Don't take this as a reflection on the RRRRRRR-08. I will attempt to make it the best Ruckus Yet.

I had one local person express interest in driving down Saturday... Chuck you up for a day trip? Maybe have dinner on the island. I'm too afraid to drive the Indy alone.

The weather here in southeast Texas has turned beautiful. Right now there isn't a cloud in the sky. Expected to get even warmer tomorrow. You North Texans are missing out
