Well i purchase my items from ebay, about November 15th or so, they were lucas 305 injectors i had a buy it now for 200 bucks, i called terry and we worked shipping and everything out, i paid with paypal, i have a receipt printed up here, and im fine and dandy, ofcourse the injecters are in the blown engine that i took out of the fiero and god know's where they are now. but dealing with terry was fine, he seamed very good with tech help with the fiero, him and ed parks have been the most help ive had with email tag, however the forum was the best help. ive not had to deal with george yet, but i hold no opinion's either way, we have only heard one side of this story, and from what i hear tools and parts are missing, I would be personally pissed off, but we dont know what is really going on, this is a matter for the local cali police to take care of. If you owned a business i figure you had insurance on it, which will pay for most/all/more of your loss, My buddy's car audio store was broken into twice and insurance paid for it both times. they way i see it is take him to court and let the people deside what is fair and what is not, thats about the only way you can go about it. that way a group of 12 people will hear two stories and decide what a fair decision is against all that has happened.

just my two cents worth, so dont take any of my ramblings personal.

Hey George, you don't get it do you? I don't need a receipt and I don't want a refund. Everybody knows who sold me the clutch, who advertized it here on the Forum, who Warranteed it, who Guaranteed it & who changed their web site when it failed after less than 2 miles. This clutch is worth a lot more hanging on my wall than it would be worth laying in your scrap heap. When you had a chance to stand behind the product you sold, you took the hard way out by not standing behind your word (another one of your steps toward self destruction). Right about now, I figure your wishing you would have cheerfully given a refund and got the positive image from being a man that stood behind his word, instead of having an unhappy customer out here with one of your POS clutches hanging on his trophy wall.

So George you can cry all you want but when all is said and done, you are the guy who sold, warranteed, guaranteed & advertized this product.

Have a wonderful day George, think of me often.

Looks like if anyone has bid on anything, you would know it. Look at his ebay ID:
tgowens (416)

Added that he has 416 positives and no negs at all to date. Granted that doesn't mean he isn't selling stuff that doesn't belong to him, but he hasn't screwed anyone over on e-bay that has posted so anyway.

The mystery continues.....

If I were going to run away and hide (if I did something wrong), would I stay in Paso Robles,CA or go to Lexington, KY ??? I'm sure the authorities would be able to find this out quickly if there was indeed an investigation.

Hey Archie,m I told you once and told you twice. Quit being a cry baby and call the factory as you had purchased the clutch from them \As far as my warranty on all the stock clutches I selll they are still double your miles of your last clutch and I have not had any come back to me as yet in the last three years.
Archie mind your own business as there are a few Calif cars yo built thatr have their problems. But this matter is between you and your customers and nob0odies else's business.
Butt out Archie.
As for Terry there is a warrant for his arrest and why he always wanted to say he did not work for me, I don't know and all he kept telling was I am dooiung this for a reason. Trust Me .
I have loost over 12K to him now and am and will prosecute to the full extend of the law.
Terry also was paid by a club here to have a website up and running thru June. This is a Fiero club and is a non profit club. They paid for ti=his and now he has turned them off because I am in volveved in the club.
Sorry folks yoy can say and do whatever you wanr but I am in the right and have all the facts on my side..
As far as I am concerned this thred is over.
IU asked that people not buy from him as all the parts he has are stolen. Is this too much to ask.

I've been reading all of this crap, and it makes me wonder......

What is going on in California that causes all this to go on? the only two shops that have been flaming anybody, and they are both located in cali.
If this guy terry stole georges crap, ok let him be caught and taken care of, whatever the story is, george, make the facts known, he stole your stuff, his name is, he maybe selling my stuff, on ebay, forum, etc. please don't buy etc.. etc... this flaming crap is just annoying, Cliff should make a new section called, "BS and Flaming - No Holds Barred" where everybody can vent on each other insted of your familys. j/k that would ruin this boards image and encourage this crap.

Let's just say I wanted to buy some parts ( Don't worry, I am not ) but lets just say I wanted to, how do I tell if the parts are hot or not? Who is to say that the 50.00, extremely rare, one of a kind 1988 Fiero GT cigerette lighter (JOKE) is the real deal and not tainted by theft? How will I ever trust again????

If they bought stolen items, they WILL lose them. 100% of the time. Those items WILL be recovered from them and returned to YOU. Your promise of not attempting to recover them is meaningless.

Hey Arch look.. a loop hole....
So if Archie puts a stock clutch in a 500HP car & it only gets 1 mile out of it, That 2 he got out of yours is justified..

OK.. I all seriousness. You claim you have been taken advantage of by Terry. I don't think you should have come to a public Forum & aired this out.. It's just not good business. You keep accusing Terry theft. You shouldn't be here with all these accusations. Take him to court & then you can come back (if you win) and talk about the guy. Remember.. Innocent until proven Guilty..

Yea, I think that really sucks. Obviously they were looking for a quick buck, and didn't care whether they told the truth or sold a good product. Only lasting 2 Miles is outrageous.

Hey Carl, worse part of it is that I put that clutch into a car with only 270HP....... in a 500 HP car it would have only lasted 1 mile.

In fact the car I had put it in is the same car I'm now converting to a Fino.

You remember, it's the one that wasn't available for test drives at the last open house.

IU asked that people not buy from him as all the parts he has are stolen. Is this too much to ask.

Sorry, but to correct you, You did not "ask" you threatened people that if they bought parts from him and didn't tell you, That you would use the Law and UPS to locate those people. You basically threatened to charge those that do not co-operate with you, with "receiving stolen property".

Your exact words are: Some will say that I will not find out if they had bought something, but there is a ups shipment list with all the names and addresses of who he had shipped parts to. Please I ask don't be stupid and try to hide that you had purchased anything from him. I will find out and if I get no co-operation I will file to recover stolen priperty.

You also need to prove that ALL the parts sold were yours. Just because Terry sold parts that COULD have come from your shelf, does not mean it was your part. Also if he sold as an example 3 shift knobs and you claim he took one from you, How do you know who has the "stolen" one and who doesn't? You cannot file charges on all 3 unless you yourself wish to be taken to court. This also means if you claim all 3 are yours and it comes out only 1 was, You are now in trouble for filing false charges on the other 2.

If the responses have bothered you why did you start 2 threads on the same subject?

I am still waiting to hear the other side of the "California Fiasco". You originally claimed he took $5000 now it's up to $12,000.
So obviously you have some Idea what was taken.
Finally, Just because you charge high prices for parts doesn't mean that is their net worth.

I've been watching the response count on the 2 threads and am taking bets as to which one gets to 100 first.

I bet on this one. It has the best

This is funny stuff. I love the melodramatics!

Archie, it sounds like "flipa.gif" might be a smiley that you would want to use in your next response...

Anyone else getting tired of hearing about George and Terry?

Why don't you guys leave your problems off of here?

I wonder if California would like to check into tax withholding, FICA, Workers Comp, etc?

I have to say archie that little guy with the bs flag just made me :drool it looked so awsome went so good with this thread, The reciept i recieved from terry was in the box with the parts, and it was a fieroshop reciept for payment for parts its dated back at january 7th i think, shame the parts are at the junkyard now, i would ship them back just for the fun of it. but they were in my core engine when i got the new engine im swaping in. anyway that just sparked up some laughter in my and my brother was wondering what i was doing. :damon
