I should know in a couple of days, I'll let you know and I'll post pics as soon as possible. And yes they are designed to be flush with a slight profile, quite unlike those dorky plastic caps that come with the wheels!!! I mean really, Compomotive goes to the trouble of creating a very nice copy of the wheel used on the 25th and drops the ball with the stupid center cap, how stupid is that???
Thanks for the on the brakes.
Joe

The front brake package. (In my best buthead,Hehe, he said package)
Detail of how the abutment bracket fits.
Close up of the adapter bracket and ss washers for shims.
Back side.
Inside wheel.
No whimpy Fiero brakes here, it's a shame the wheels don't show more of the brakes!!!
Close up.
At this point I'm waiting on the machine shop for the center caps, should be middle of the week.

where are the bearing caps the caps you had made are not going to retain the wheel bearing grease when it heats up it will be all over the back side of the rim

Bubba, I'm going to hope that your smarter than that, the parts shown are in mock up stage, when Will assembles them on his car, he will reuse the original bearing caps, the only thing the other caps do, is look good in the center of the wheel!!

I made this artwork for the center caps...traced it off a close up photo of Marks genuine one in Autocad, then brought it into Corel Draw to finalize it, so should be very, very close I can now laser engrave these or even make decals for the centers...are the caps steel or aluminum there Joe? Will

Hi John, I had found these as well. The trouble is that those use the Lamborghini Tonino( son of Ferruccio) bull or something simular and this is inaccurate for the center caps I have the artwork for this other bull as well, but it's wrong, so won't be used..I'm sick that way details wise... but you already know that lol Cheers, Will

How much for a set? mine will have to be a bit smaller, I will get a size to you later. I have to get back on my Lambo, work has slowed beacuse of "To Do List", Summer, Cottage season, just got boat out and Tilt/Trim hydraulics aren't working...unexpected bills...
i really would like a set of caps and decals, rear wheel flares, and maybe a couple other things you or Joe can do...hopefully next month budget will have less surprises...

I received my wheels tires and everything, now to install em...Who wants to help me to do this in the Orlando Area... I need to install the springs for the rear struts back in the car as well, any help please?????
UPDATE! So the wheels arrived and I took them over to the storage unit. I then put out a call for help on the Central Florida Fiero Club forum to install my springs/ struts and replace the old wheel, rotor, hub, brake setup with the custom work that Joe did. Stan was the first to answer the request, Awesome. He came over and we struggled through replacing the struts in the rear and getting the old rotors and calipers off, lots of rusted frozen parts as the "roller" sat out side for a few years before I got it. Then Chuck came over and and we finally got the rear replaced and new wheel/tire on, at least temporarily, thank you Sincerely Chuck for helping out. Since I'm only able to work a little at a time, Stan has been meeting me over at the unit and we've been working on the rest of the wheels, we just finished the front passenger side assembly, looking fantastic, Joe ya did good, real good thank ya sir
Will

Lookin' good, I do see a small problem, you have the front caliper adapter brackets on upside down, that's why the calipers are hanging low.
It looks like you have the adapter pointing down below the spindle instead of up as it is shown in the pic, the way you have it will cause interference with the shock and a-arm when trying to turn!
I can't wait to see it with all the correct body parts in place, your on your way to having a very nice replica.
BTW please get it down off the jackstands so we can see how it looks!!!
Cheers Beers n Gearz. Joe

Lookin' mighty fine. I can't wait to see some pictures taken a little further back too... but for heaven's sake, get some black paint on those wheel well liners!
As an observation... I was looking back on what you said here:

I think your idea of laser engraving them is going to look and work the best. If you make vinyl decals for the center caps, I think you'll be disappointed at the fit since your caps are convex. The vinyl probably won't follow the contour very well around the edges unless you find some way to heat it up and make it conform. Just my 2 cents. Keep up the good work!

LOL, Blooz, Will has an astounding amount of fiberglass, bodywork and paint before he can get to that, there wont be much left of the original body when he's done!!! (Roof, door skins, door jams, parts of the fenders, front hood and I think the engine cover and trunk, he's changing the front bumper, air dam, wheel flares front fender tops, side skirts, air boxes, rear bumper and tail light surround.) I was totally ocd back in the day when I was doing the plugs for my molds, but will is taking it to a level that it will be hard to tell from his friends real one.
I'm glad you brought up the center caps. I'm going to use a unique process to bake the black on the metal finish. There's s special spray coating you airbrush onto the metal designed especially for laser cutters. Once completely covered, I will laser engrave the artwork right onto the metal cap. The extreme heat of the laser chemically bakes the black finish onto the metal then I just rinse off the remaining coating. This leaves me with a perfect center cap finish, not a sticker. It's very durable too...I tried scraping the black on a piece of stainless with a screw driver and couldn't mar it... Will

..This project is a major operation,,Will is slowly becomming mechanic ,,Just doing the brakes has been much more than I thought,, when we accomplish something ,we normally have to do it more than once ,,Progress is slooooow but steady,, The stock brakes were frozen many bolts are refuzing to come out ,,& will is changing fenders, ect. to get an exact factory lambo look,,we may have to break out the Ski face mask and weapons for an unauthorized withdrawal to fund project..
...The only easy day was yesterday
