I saw in your other thread that you sold it - do you mind me asking what such a nice car brought?

Thanks!! The difference between this car and most replicas is that every panel was molded right off real Ferrari panels. The panels even have Ferrari casting numbers in them. Also I used all OEM Ferrari parts (ie, front grill, front turn lamps, side markers, all emblems, quarter windows, challenge rear grill, upper tail light panel, all tail lights, muffler, steering wheel, etc, etc, etc.) This car has cost a small fortune to build.

Im not sure if the new owner will want it posted. But I will finish the car and by the time its said and done it will be over $30,000 and less the $50,000. Sorry I dont want to post the exact number with out talking to my buyer. And the only reason I am selling it is because I bought the home in the picture and need the extra money.

Thanks!! Yes the damn Italian car company stole the design. LoL!

To be honest I think the 355 looks like a cross between a MK2 MR2 and a Fiero.

Thanks!!

I looked at that kit too, but it was not very correct. This is an AD 355 and the company has just sold the molds. Every panel was molded right off factory Ferrari panels. If you want more information about the kit visit kitcarsforum.com and search AD 355.

Well thank you!!

People coming in to the body shop did not believe it was a Fiero even after they were told.

Thank you!

Not much I can do to make it faster here in California. Our smog laws suck. I know it can be done but right now the body and interior is the focus.

Great job! You never know if you've done enough gap straightening, puttying, and sanding until the paint is on. Looks like a 10 out of 10! Here is a picture of mine a long time ago with fresh (less than a week) paint:

I left the old tires/wheels on the car for painting - 195/60's (studded winter tires!) on the stock 14" rims. The car had stock suspension at that time, so the gaps between the tires and body panels were huge.

Delorean, I'm curious - did you do a frame stretch on this car? Either way, it looks good!

I spent forever on the gaps, then I sent it to the body shop and they spent even more time. I am very happy with the end result. I am going to lower the car as well, currently its stock 86 Fiero suspension. The car is a stock Fiero wheelbase.

It has the whole front suspension out of a Chrysler, so it has independent front suspension, power steering, disc brakes, big sway bar, etc. It also has a pretty built motor.

Here is the only photo I have of it.
