Well, I thought we were addressing things with some normalcy, but you're kind of being insincere with your response.
COVID isn't a ruse, it's a real virus, and we know where it came from. All the information that has been released by the Federal government through FOIAs (which is not an admission, but merely pieces of evidence), show that it effectively started in Wuhan, and that the US Government was sponsoring programs Bat SARSv2, animal to human transmission, and others. I forget the technical name they call it, but the US was sponsoring it in China because we've made it illegal to do it here. It was being done without Executive and Congressional oversight.
I can't say much what to make of that, but it's pretty messed up, and I think you'd agree.
I believe a lot of people have died from COVID, but I very clearly explained how the numbers are inflated in the United States, as well as some being likely under-counted in other countries. I know I type a lot, so I will try to make this short, but I'll re-explain what I said:
1 - It is statistically impossible for the United States to have DOUBLE the number of deaths of India, which has almost 4 times the population. We had the vaccines first, and culturally socially distance more than people in India do.
2 - In the United States, we incentivize COVID-19 diagnosis. Hospitals get something to the tune of 30% of additional funding (from the Federal government) for every patient that has COVID.
3 - States have made it clear that they do not differentiate "DEATH BY COVID" and "DEATH WITH COVID." If you die from a car accident, and have COVID at the time of death, you are listed as a COVID death in the United States. This is actual fact, it's not something I've fabricated, this is well understood.
And it's wonderful. It may not be perfect, but I'm very grateful for the health care we have in Canada.
