He had a good run, but the man became unhinged after the election. I almost think he was pretty much asking for it. I kept him as a positive for a LONG LONG LONG time... just to prevent him from being banned, but I switched it a few months ago when he just went on a tirade.
I'm sure we'd all welcome him back, but the man's just got to take it down a notch... he resorts to personal attacks.
Not all of us. He was actively trying to ruin the forum. I almost broke my "no neg" rule, just for him.
I have very few NEGs... and the vast majority of those people have all been banned. I guess that includes dobey now. Only other person still here that's got a NEG is ThreeDog... don't remember why I gave it to him. I'll probably reverse it.

What is a shame is that the ratings given by a banned member still remain. For some, such as slowv8fiero, ratings was their raison d'être.

Looks like the last person that rated you gave you a neg, because I just gave you a positive (realized I didn't have you rated) and it shifted to the center now...
It is a pretty safe bet that dobey and slowv8 passed out plenty of negs. If negs from banned members were wiped out, some would notice a reduction in the "total ratings" count.
Mine was 133 for ever and then about a month ago it dropped down to 132. A few days but I wouldn't say more than a week ago it went back up to 133. /shrug, I suppose as long as it doesn't go below 50 and I lose my bar, it's all good.

You will only know when the rating bar shows up......OR you get banned and can't post anymore LOL I helped you get one step closer to getting a ratings bar.

Its possible to get a bar in a hurry in T/OT.... 50 is the magic number before it appears.
I'm sure he'll be back.. Hopefully he will tone it down some..

Well dobey finally got his wish. Took way longer than what I thought. When dobey had the upside down flag after the election and was still posting in tech, I invited him over to OT if he had something to say. I knew dobey was liberal at the time but when he came back to OT he took it up to a new level almost never seen. Smart guy and all. I still had him rated positive for his knowledge and help in tech. The internet facade he was putting up I wasn't buying. I wish him well.
I don't remember how (or if) I rated dobey. I try to only raise/lower someone by a single step at a time (- to neutral or + to neutral). I think I gave dobey a negative after the flag avatar but probably changed it to at least a neutral at some point. There have been a LOT worse than him. I usually just quit reading his threads.
I enjoy giving +'s. It usually takes a lot less for me to give a + than it does for me to give a -. Sometimes, I'll give everyone a + who posts in one of my threads even if they didn't really contribute (unless they've just been a jackwagon). (And, sometimes I won't.)

I don't, I should say rarely post in Tech (88GT T Top). I also gave you a plus just now. I was hoping your ratings bar showed up. That said, when it does, I am going to un-rate you and make it disappear, .
I don't think we can un-rate banned members, dobeys and such.
