Yesterday

Abandoned 1912-built house that was demolished a few weeks after this was taken for more lame-ass commercial development. 17-minute exposure.

Great Egrets hanging around the canal on today's bicycle ride. There must have been 30 of them. I wish I had my good camera with me.

In ten years that baby may be throwing some serious heat:

Just a small 16 footer caught by my son Tony who is holding the head.
He caught it by himself. He is licensed by the State of Florida to catch Pythons and other snakes.
This Python was 16ft 1in and weighed 181lbs.
This capture resulted in the snake having a transmitter installed for tracking purposes.
Two years later, recapture laying on a nest of 71 eggs all giving birth but the (mommy) died a day or two later from stress.

Easter Bunny came early.

Been going for long walks to get some exercise and fresh air during these weird times. Wandered down to the waterfront in my neighborhood four nights ago, the evening of the Pink Moon.

General Lee today. One year old. When he was born he was a runt the size of my thumb. Turned into the most playful affectionate pup you ever saw.

Damn, that was almost two years ago. I had completely forgotten about taking and posting that photo. Who knew back then that we'd still be experiencing these "weird times" in 2022.
