Holy smokes! A DeTomaso Mangusta. You don't see them on every street corner. Never seen one in person, myself. Would like to, though. Thanks for having good taste.
Not recent, so breaking the rules a bit, but I just came across this photo while doing some cleanup on my machine. Picked them for a friend, I didn't eat any. Never had them before, not real interested in trying them.

C-118A (DC-6) taking off from Sondrestrom AB, Greenland 1963. The "rotator" flew once a week from McGuire AFB in New Jersey with a fuel stop in Goose Bay, Labrador.
spark1----Just 10 min from my house is Opa-Locka Airport and parked in a corner of the field you will find these-- This is just a small portion. A lot of these still fly.

Shot tonight at the Darrell Gwynn Full Throttle High Performance car show in Lighthouse Point Fl. This is typical of some of the BIG horsepower cars.
Toyota with a Mazda engine.
Now it's Fiero related but actually I was looking at the girl in front of the car.
Small area of the show
Now this car belongs to the owner of the dealership. Tom Sheehan. A 2002 Pontiac with a LOT of horsepower. Years ago he offered me the engine out of this car to install it in the Fiero. I just could not come up with the $30,000 asking price. Yes I was correct in the price.
What is REALLY interesting on this car is in the next couple of pics.
This is his daily driver as he has a mechanic that does nothing but clean his car every time he drives it. He also has a Solstice and I am not too sure but possibly a G8. The bottom of the Solstice is just like the above pics.
LT188GT, It was nice to meet you last night at the show.
One of these days I will bring the race car to one of these shows to attract some attention for the club. I need to get some more recent photos of the race car as the last set I took are almost a year old. See you around
A change from the planes and cars. How about a couple of snakes. The lighter snake on the left is a Rock Python. Out of 122 pythons that my son has caught, only 4 have been Rock Pythons.
On the right is a Burmese Python and they are all over the Everglades in growing numbers.
A little closer for comparison.
All I do is take the pictures and hold the bag open for my son to capture them, AFTER I make sure that he has a death grip on them. And NO I do not like snakes, never have and never will but I do find them fascinating.
This is the Opa-Locka Fl airport control tower. It played a big part during the WW2 days. This is the field were the TBM's were lost in the Bermuda Triangle.
This is the site of the former hangar that housed a bunch of Corsairs during the filming of the TV series Baa Baa Black Sheep with Robert Conrad.
Here's a few from me... my son has tried to steal ever fiero i've owned since he was born. It's become common place to get these shots now but at one time it was random and never staged.
